Dark- Gaster

It was late at night and you were walking home from work. You didn't have a car yet, and you missed the bus because your stupid boss made you stay late. The street you were on had white lights, making everything very spooky. Out of the corner of your eye, you saw what looked like a face. You turned your head, but nothing was there. Walking quicker, you kept going. 

You saw a face and a hand. Nothing was there. You were almost running. A body-like shape. You were full on sprinting now. Suddenly, the lights went out. You put your hands in front of you. There's something here... Something in the shape of a... Man? You try to run, but something holds you back. 

"Do not be afraid, human..." a distorted voice said. One light turned on. In front of you, a human-like being with a cracked face, no arms and holes in his hands. One of his hands was holding your arm. "Do not be afraid. I am here to protect you." "Wh-who are you?" you stuttered. "My name or my being?" he asked. "B-both?" "My name is Dr. WD Gaster. You may call me Gaster. I am time and space," he answered with a bow of his head. He let go of your arm. Rubbing it to warm it back up, you questioned, "How are you time and space?" "I do not think this is a wise place to talk about that. Let us go to your home," he said. The lights turned on, and you headed home.

~Time skip by Gaster~

When you got home, you turned the lights on, took you shoes and jacket off, then wondered where Gaster went. "Turn off a few lights so I may appear from the darkness," he said in your head. You turned off a few lights, and Gaster emerged from the shadows. "I need darkness to gather so I can form. That's why my body is a mass of shadow," he explained. "Ok... So, why are you protecting me and how are you time and space?" you interrogated him. "I am protecting you from evil humans. A long time ago, I was a scientist, and I fell into one of my machines. It was a teleporter, and since it didn't have a destination in it, it took me to time and space," he told you. 

As you took this in, he murmured something. "What?" you asked him. "Oh, u-uh.... Ahem, there's another reason I am here... (YN), I have been watching you for a while. You are a great human, better than so many. Brave, hopeful, kind, determined. And I, I have very strong feelings for you. Hum- (YN) I love you. I know you just met me, so I shall not be offen-" "Yes, it has been very soon, but you're the only one who has been nice to me in weeks," you interrupted. 

Gaster stared at you for a few moments before looking away and nervously scratched his cheek. Even though you just met him, seeing the shadowy skeleton like this made you giggle lightly. Gaster looked right at you again at the sound of your giggle, which made him smile a little. You felt your face start to warm up. You couldn't really explain it, but there was something about him that made you happy he was here. Talking to you. Even though this is the first time seeing Gaster, you felt like you've known him for a long time."Gaster... I-" He cut you off by placing a finger to your lips and slowly started to lean in. Without realizing it at first, you moved in closer. Gaster finally removed his finger, only to be replaced with his teeth. The two of you stayed like this for a while until you remembered something. Breaking the kiss, you smiled and told Gaster that today's Valentine's Day."How about we watch a movie?" Gaster smiled back and you simply nodded. You gently grabbed his boney hand and led him to your couch and turned on Netflix. You put on some random movie, not even paying any attention to the title. Putting the remote down, you laid your head on Gaster's shoulder. Tired from today's events, your eyelids became heavy. The only thing you felt before falling asleep was Gaster wrapping his hands around you and gently kissing your forehead.
