"I love you too!" I exclaimed giving my mom a hug.
"Stay safe, and call me when you arrive."
"Okay, sure."
"Oh, take lots of pictures for me."
"Alright mom, bye!"
I waved goodbye and Came over to Amber and her parents.
"You guys stay safe, bye Amber!" Her parents gave her a massive hug.
"Bye mom, bye dad, see you in a month!" Amber said as she released the hug.
Conner was waiting at the plane entrance and Logan was giving his girlfriend a goodbye kiss.
I mentally sighed and walked over to Conner.
"Your parents didn't come say goodbye?""Nah, they're at work."
"Aww." I said giving him a look of sympathy.
"Once Logan is done making out with his girlfriend we can go."
The sight of him and Tiffany made me sick.
"Oh god. Go get him." I said giving Conner a push.
"Fine" he muttered and walked over to the couple.
"Hey Logan, we don't have any time for you to do it with your girlfriend. Come on." I heard Conner say.
Logan's cheeks heated up and he walked into the plane. I walked behind him with Amber by my side.
"Amber, sit beside me because I don't want a random stranger sitting beside me."
"Alright. I get the isle seat because I have a small bladder."
"That's fine with me, you'll be closer to the crying baby's."
We took our seats and waited for the plane to start.
My eyes slowly closed as I drifted off to sleep.
"Lex! We're in California! Wake up!"
I shot up and immediately looked out the window.
The Palm trees calmly swayed back and forth. The ground was covered in fine golden sand. The sun stretched across the airport, giving it a warm glow.
"OHMYGOSH!!! It's beautiful! It's so warm, I'm sweating!" I exclaimed.
Logan and Conner were sitting across from us, admiring the beautiful view.
"Come on Lex, we gotta get to our fancy hotel!"
Amber stood up and grabbed our carry ons. I took mine and walked off the plane and into the airport.
"Okay, so let's get our stuff from that spiny thingy." Amber said as she took my hand and walked over to the baggage claim.
"Spiny thingy?" I asked.
"You know what I mean."
I watched the luggage go round and round making me feel slightly nauseous.
As our bags came around, Logan and Conner lifted them on to the cart.
"Wow Amber, your suitcase is heavy." Conner said teasingly.
"We're staying here for a month, what do you expect?"
Once we got all our bags, we got a taxi.
"I got the American money!" I announced handing it to our driver.
I saw the hotel roll into view and my eyes opened wide.
"That looks incredible!"
We got to our room and I collapsed on the silk queen sized bed.
"I'm going to the beach! Anyone wanna come?" Amber asked.
"I'm coming!" I said and dug out my bikini and towel.
I quickly changed in the bathroom and put my hair in a pony tail.
Logan and Conner were in their swim trunks standing by the door.
"Let's go!" Amber said pushing through the boys.
The beach was right in front of the hotel which was awesome.
"Bet you can wait to see Logan take off his shirt." Amber said poking me.
"I told you, I don't like him."
Amber chuckled."Race you there!" She said and ran to the beach. I chased after her and stopped once my feet hit the sand.
It was the most incredible feeling, the sand was like a foot massage.
I laid down my towel and ran into the crystal clear water. It was a lot warmer than I expected. It was almost like a hug.
Logan jumped into the water causing me to stare at his gorgeous abs.
Wait what?
Someone splashed me with water causing me to gag from the saltiness.
"Eww Amber!"
"Sure you don't like him." She said and dove back into the water.
"Ugg!" I groaned in frustration. My mouth tasted awful.
I noticed a small bar at the back of the beach.
"Amber, get me something to drink."
"Why should I?"
"Because my mouth tastes like a rotting fish."
"Or you just want to be alone with Logan." She said as a smile crossed her face.
"God dammit just get me water."
"If you haven't noticed, you are swimming in water." She chuckled.
I gave her my best glare and we both burst out laughing.
"Seriously though, get me something."
"Fine, fine, I'll go!" She said putting her hands up in surrender.
Maybe Amber was right, maybe I do like Logan. But if I do, I know he doesn't. It'll ruin our friendship for good.
