Chapter 3(Talks and Contracts)

Sasuke led Itachi in the living room. There he sat in the couch while Itachi sat on the other end of the room. There's an awkward silence between the two.

"So?" Sasuke began. "Aren't you going to explain why did you did what you did?"

Itachi just sighed and looked at Sasuke. He don't want to tell Sasuke what he is about but,for once, he had to be selfish.

"What I'm going to tell you Sasuke is a SS-class secret."

Sasuke nodded, understanding the situation.

"The Uchiha clan is preparing for a coup dè tat. The Clan has began to be arrogant enough to plan for a civil war. It all started when the Nidaime began to work..."

Itachi told what happened. That the nidaime is suspicious enough to the Uchihas that he pushed them to the farthest part of the village and get them into constant ANBU surveillance. That the Uchiha felt they have no political power so they planned the coup de tat. The Sandaime,the Hokage of this time, caught sight of the plan. He planned to talk this out but Danzō, a war hawk and an elder, ordered Itachi to kill the entire clan. He agreed to the plan in one condition...

"That's to let you live, Sasuke. That's the condition I gave to them. I made you hate me because I want to you to kill me." Itachi is now looking at the ground this time.

"Kill you?" Sasuke asked, incredulously. Why would he do that kind of thing.

"Yes, kill me. To pay my sins and to proclaim you as a hero of Konoha. 'Sasuke Uchiha, killer of Itachi Uchiha, the murderer of Uchiha clan.' has a nice ring in it."

Sasuke is silent for awhile. Then he stood up and walked to Itachi. His fist clenched and trembling.

"Stand up." Sasuke now has a authoritative voice that pushed Itachi to obey. He stood up and met Sasuke in the eye. Imagine his surprise when a new sharingan in his eyes. It has black pupil and red bird in the center. Around the center is five tomoes that is in the points of a pentagon.

'Is this the...?'

His thoughts were cut off when Sasuke punched him, square in the face.

The punch has some surprising strength in it that pushed Itachi into the ground.

'I guess I deserve that.'

Sasuke pulled his brother's collar and forced him to stand up. When he is up, Sasuke hugged his brother.

"I would never,ever, kill you. Big brother." Sasuke said in his muffled voice.

Itachi just smiled and patted Sas-,his little brother, in the head.

"Can you forgive me?" He asks ina soft voice

His answer is provided when Sasuke nodded.

'It's good to be back.'

-Line Break-

*Naruto's house*

"Please tell me you just have to live here because your house is a mess." Kushina pleaded. She can't stand his son is living in...in...this.

"Sorry. It is normally a beautiful house, it is a home for sometime, but the villagers made it ugly. But don't worry, the inside is a surprise." Naruto said, though sad, is still grinning.
