Amirah's POV
It was Sunday morning and I was still rapped up in Marks arms I moved a little and he loosened his arms enough for me to get up. I got up and stretched a little. I went over to the desk where are phones when plugged up in to potable chargers. I looked at my phone and had 6 missed calls. 4 from mom one from May and one from my dad. Along with two voicemails. From mom and May. I decided to call my mom back since she was probably really worried about me.
"Hello?!" My mom basically yell it in my ear.
"Hey mom."
"Oh god. Amirah where are you are you ok?"
"Mom I'm ok, and I'm with Mark. Before you ask no he didn't kid nap me." My mom has this really weird theory that someone will kid nap me now that I'm 16, but I think I'll be ok.
"Okay. May told me that you ran away and I got really nervous."
"I understand everything is fine. I got mad and ran to our cabin. Mark found me and we stayed here."
"Ok well I'll talk to you later I have to call your father and let him know everything is okay."
"I'll do it I still have to thank him for the car anyway. I love you mom."
"I love you too dear." She hung up the phone and I dialed my dad's number.
"Hello?"
"Umm hey dad." I was terrified. I turned around to see Mark was up stretching. I sat on the couch and he stood next to me.
"Sweetie is everything ok.? Your mother called me and said you were missing."
"Yes dad everything is fine. I'm with a friend in the cabin."
"You mean the cabin Michael built you guys?" My dad and May's dad were really good friends. They were basically brothers, but then something happened and that changed.
"Yes sir."
"Ah ok. I'm sorry I didn't call you the other day."
"Oh it's fine. Sorry I didn't answer yesterday. My phone was on silent most of the day, and thank you for the car." The line was quite for a moment. "Dad?"
"Oh yes sweetie. I'm sorry. I'm just trying to get some stuff together for my job. I'll call you later. I love you."
"I love you too dad." I hung up the phone and looked down at the ground.
Mark sat down next to me and I layed my head on the arm rest.
"Amirah you ok?"
"Mark it's my dad. He never really has been a father. He was always to busy working to be around when my parents were together. Now with the car is that his way for saying now I don't have an excuse not to see him? Plus he has a new family. Were we not good enough." I look to the ground about to cry. Then marks grabs my hand.
"Look at me." I did. "You are an amazing person and one of the most beautiful girls I've ever met." I smile and wiped my face. "Look I know you and I are just now becoming better friends and friends basically, but I'd do anything for you." He kissed my hand layed it in the couch. "Now get up I'm taking you to breakfast."
"Where are you taking me?"
"Anywhere you want to go" I smiled when into the bathroom and showered and got changed. Good thing last time I went shopping I brought clothes over here.
I get out and walk to Mark. I looked him up and down.
"Are you going to shower or maybe wash up or change?"
