Where'd The Good Girl Go?

Chapter 8

Amirah's POV

"Good job today ladies. Practice went perfectly." Ahh I love my squad. These girl and I have known each other forever. Even the juniors, seniors, and freshmen on the squad I've know for my whole life. It's a little hard being captain as a sophomore though. Sometimes I wish I wasn't, but I'm glad I am.

"Hey Amirah." Brittany and Tiffany say while coming running up to me.

"Hey you guys, so I really don't want to go home so let's go out to eat or something instead. Is that cool?"

They look at each other, but in unison say, "sure."

"Fab. Let me grab my stuff then we can go."

"Well we are going to our cars meet us in the parking lot."

"Ok I have to lock up anyway." Not even a minute after they left I was being swept off my feet by Mark, and being spent around like crazy.

"Hi my beautiful girlfriend."

I can't help but laugh well giggle that is. "Hey babe."

"So I was thinking I'd take you out tonight."

"As awesome as that seems I can't. I'm hanging out with Brittany and Tiffany for a little while."

"Dang. Okay well afterwards?"

"Yes afterwards I'm all yours."

"Awesome." He kisses my head, puts me down, and takes me to my car where Tiffany's and Brittany's cars and parked next to mine on both sides.

So I get in my car and text Brittany and Tiffany.

Me- So Where To Ladies?

Brit- How about Yoasis for froyo?

Tiff- Sounds great!

Me- Ok let's go.

As I pull out my parking spot I see Mark blow me a kiss. I catch it and placed it on my heart and drive to Yoasis.

So we pull into Yoasis and my phone starts to ring. It was my dad. I didn't answer because honestly I didn't want to talk to him.

We get out our cars and walk in. We get our froyo and take a set. Not even two seconds after we sit down I'm attacked with questions from Brittany about me and Mark.

"So Amirah what's going on with you and Mark????"

"Well we're dating. It's nothing serious, but we did just start dating."

It was silent for a second then Tiffany spoke.

"Look girl I've known you since we were 5, and you've always been a good girl. There's stuff about him that you probably don't know, and stuff you won't know. There's probably even stuff you will never want to know. I know he's got looks, but he's no go for you. Well I don't think so. Just be careful ok?"

"I will." I was starting to rethink this guy. He's hot like hot hot, but this is the second time I've been warned about him.

We stay at Yoasis for a good 2 hour doing nothing but talk and gossip. I learnt that Micheal Tomas has a crush on me and has liked me since 7th grade, and that Tiffany has a huge crush on my brother. I told her I'd huck them up. Honestly I do get what people see in him he's Hot! But hey he is my brother after all.

"Alright girls I'll see you two tomorrow. We'll have to do this again." I hug Brittany and Tiffany and get in my car, and drive home.
