Hiding Something

Nevaeh’s POV

 I stood in the hallway pacing back and forth for a good 15 minutes just thinking of what just happened. Why would he even try to purpose to me, I told him no time soon did I plan on doing that. That’s a big move that takes me AND my daughter into consideration.

 I came to the conclusion that I would just simply say no, I can’t have something on my shoulders like that yet. Me and him aren’t even that official, and from what I heard he got a main bitch. Shoot he kind of my mistress, but don’t tell him that.

 After about 5 more minutes I walked back in, the whole time it was so awkward because once again everyone was watching me. Instead of going straight to Elijah I walked over to Ashtonn.

 “What are you going to say ?” She asked me in a low voice.

 “No.”

 “You’re going to say no ? To him ?”

I nodded. “I ain’t ready for that and we just  now even started to talk again.  He’s doing good but he still got to prove himself.”

 “I get what you saying.”

 “Yeah, but I think I better get out of here.”

 “Aight here my key.”

I grabbed them and  picked up Heaven then walked over to Aleah. “I’ll see you later.”

 “Ain’t you gonna give him an answer first.” She asked glancing towards Elijah.

 “No.”

 “Okay, see you bye baby girls.”

 “Bye auntie.” Heaven said waving.

“Okay see you.” I said as I turned towards the exit.

Jacquees stepped infront of me. “Wait you can’t say bye to me ?”

I turned to him and waved, next thing I know Heaven jumped out of my arms and ran over to him  “BYE BYE !”

He smiled. “See you lil momma.”

She kissed him in the cheek then walked back to me, I have to admit I was a little shocked. She’s not always much of a people person yet she just gravitated towards him. I guess it’s just that unknown father and daughter connection.  Yup  Jacquees is her dad, but I never told him.  I don’t really plan to either only way he’ll find out is if he figures it out on his own, or if Ashtonn tells which is most likely the way he’ll find out.
