Navaeh’s POV

I only slept for half of the night and they rest  of the time I layed there thinking to myself. I came t the point where I think I’m just going to tell Elijah yes, I need to settle down. And we don’t have to get married right away.

By now it was about 10 am, Heaven would be waking up pretty soon she always gets up around this time. I was currently laying face to face with him, he looks so peaceful when he sleeps.

I  could feel his hand gliding down my side which meant he was waking.

“Good morning.” I said as i turned to him.

“Morning.” He replied in a tired voice, for a second i felt myself begining to melt. He sounds so sexy that way an- I'ma jus just stop myself for a second.

He slowly opened his eyes to reveal that beautiful brown color i love so much, if only Elijah’s were like that.

“I have to tell you something.”

 “what ?”

 “I’ma tell Elijah yes.”

 “To what ?”

 “….marrying him.”

He eyes instantly shot all the way open, he looked me dead in my face.You kidding me.”

 “No I’m serious, I need to settle down anyways.”

“Why… with him of all people.”

 “Because I know him, Heaven is familiar with him, he proposed so obviously he committed to me.”’ Even though I know that’s not fully true, but I guess he’s the best that it gets.

“No.”

“What ?”

“No, you’re not marrying him.”

“That’s not your decision and my mind is made up.”

" Don’t do that to yourself again, think you just have to settle. I’m telling you all he’s gonna do is hurt you.”

 “No he’s not, he changed.”

 “A person can’t just change, once a punk ass nigga always a punk ass nigga.”

 “Look whatever you say isn’t gonna work.”

 “Look for this once could you please just listen to me, we don’t need a repeat of high school. Cause this time I promise you I will kill the nigga.”

 “Oh hush ain’t nothing gonna happen.”

 “Whatever you say, just do me a favor.”

 “what ?”

: “At least take it slow, so that way when I have to step in and pick up the pieces it won’t be too much.”

 “You won’t have to do that, I can handle myself.”

“Just promise me.”

: “Fine.”

A few minutes later Heaven came running in the room. “Mommy make me pancakes !”

This little girl had toothpaste all over her face.

 “What happened to you ?”

 “I brushed my teeth.” :she smiled.

Jav laughed. "I’ll get her cleaned up.”

Heaven's POV

I sat on the bathroom counter with my feet dangling as my dad cleaned my face off.

I’m the luckiest kid in the whole wide world ! I got the perfect dad :D, and he treats mommy right too and he doesn’t look at me weird like Elijah does.
