I walked towards the bathroom before 5th period started.

"Hey bitch." I heard Ally say.

"What do you want?" I sighed.

"You stole Ashton from me."

"No I didn't. He chose me. He was never yours to begin with anyways." I said.

" He was dating me all year until you came back into his life."

" I wouldn't call late night booty calls 'dating' " I said using my fingers as quotation marks.

"Just stay away from him." She said with a deadly tone and walked out. My life would be so much easier without her.

I made my way to 5th period which was English. My teacher is really nice.

"Cara Williams please report to football field bleachers. Once again please report to the football field bleachers." Someone in the office announced through the intercom.

"You heard that Cara go." Mrs. Baker said. I wonder what was going on. I hope nothing bad happened. I sat in the bleachers as I saw the football team and cheerleaders come out onto the fields. They were all holding pieces of large paper. They joined together and together it spelt 'dance?'

"What in the world." I said as I walked down in the field.

I saw Ashton on one knee with a rose in his hand.

"Will you be my date to formal?" He asked.

"Yes!" I said with a teary eye as I hugged him.

"I'm glad you said that." He said as he spun me around and then kissed me. I honestly forgot we weren't alone. The cheerleaders were all amazed. The football guys were telling us to get a room.

"We are going shopping after school." I heard Marie say as she got out of the crowd of people.

"Ugh fine." I said. I pulled out my phone to text my mom about the dance.

I am so tired and hungry right now, Marie keeps dragging me store to store to find me a nice dress. We finally found our dresses. They were both out on the display window.

"Hello." I said politely to the lady working at the counter.

"Yes, may I help you?" The nice lady asked.

"Um, can we try on the dresses that are are in the display window?" Marie asked.

"Sure thing." She said as we started walking towards the window.

We both walked in to the changing room. I was amazed at this this dress. It was a pale pink color strapless flowing dress. It was a perfect fit on me. I checked the price tag, it was only $87. It must be my lucky day. I walked out the changing room and saw Marie in her dress. Her dress was a maroon color and it had thin straps.

"Look at you. You look hot." She said once she saw me.

"Thanks, you too. " I said as I walked into the changing room to change back into my regular clothes.

We both payed for our dresses and went out to buy shoes then we were done for the day. The dance was fifteen days away.

"Hey cara." My mom said when I got home.

"Hi."

"How was shopping?" She asked.

"Great, I got a dress." I replied.

"Oohh. Can u see it?" She asked.

"Yeah, I'll show you in my room." I said because I didn't want Ashton to see it. I'll tell him what color it is so we can match at the dance later.
