Emma's pov
After leaving the office, Jack walked me to my class. We waved bye. "Ms.Blue. Do you want to tell me where you was?" The teacher ask. "I was in the office." I said. Everyone stared at me. "That your sit." She said. Class went on.

After class, I went to lunch. Today, I had lunch will my vampire friend Lena. "Hey?" I said. She waved me over to her. I got my lunch and sat down. I saw Lena looking at Colt. "Lena? Go talk to him." I said biting into my sandwich. Lena's face was red. I got up and walked over to Colt. "Hey! Colt?" I said. Colt looked at me and smiled. I could see his fangs. "Hey?" Colt said about to give me a hug. His best friend, Ace looked at us weird. "Colt? See Lena?" I said. Colt looked over and nodded. "She likes you. Why don't you go talk to her." I said. Colt smiled and walked over to Lena. I smiled as I seen them talking. Ace walks off. Ace and I don't get along.

Lunch was ending, when my day got worse. I walk walk to my next class. I felt arms around me. They pulled me back pushing me into the locker. I was a guy. I don't know him. "I heard it's about time for you to get a mate?" He growled. I try to break free. "Let me go!!!" I screamed but no one heard. He only pushed harder. I fight him. We started fighting until he beats me up. I sit in the hallway crying.

The day finally ended. Jack decided to walk me home. We got to my house. "Thanks. Jack." I said. "Hey......Um.....Emma....can I stay with you for a little while? I need to talk." Jack said. "Sure?" I said walking in. My mom would be home in an hour to make dinner. I go in the kitchen to get snacks. I say on the couch. Jack looked into my eyes. "Emma? What happened?" Jack ask taking my hand. I cried a little. He pull me in a hug. "Everyone knows about me getting my mate. The other pack alpha's are hurt me because I don't want to pick them. I can't pick my mate. That's the moon goddess job. I'm worried about the mate thing." I cried. Jack rubbed my back and looked down. "Emma? Everything will be ok. I'll be here to help you." Jack said. He give me a kiss on the cheek. I looked up at him. I felt something. "I hope so." I said. I cried myself to sleep sitting on the couch sitting beside Jack. I have to tell my parents about this. They may can help with this.
