Foward and Reverse (Bradley Steven Perry FanFic)

Chapter 2

Alex's POV

In science, we were talking about chemistry, my luck, and girls, again, glared at me. I stuck Bradley's number in the pocket of my leather jacket. While writing notes, I found myself not writing, but daydreaming. About me and Bradley. Boy, I wish he liked me. But, that will never happen, cause he probably thinks I'm just another girl wanting the fame. Sigh.

After most of my classes, it was time for lunch. I walked to the lunch room and grabbed my tray. They served the most disgusting slop ever. I didn't even know what most of it was. And then they served chocolate chip cookies.

"$2.70." The cashier said. She sounded like Ross from Monster's Inc. I gave her $2.70 and walked through the lunch room trying to find Bradley. We waved me over, and I sat next to him. For now, we were alone.

"Should I bring lunch from now on?" I ask. He smiles and nods.

"Ya, we had no food in the house yet so I had to eat here. Disgusting it is, really." He said.

Then a bunch of boys came and plopped at the table with their lunches. I stayed next to Bradley, and while boys tried to flirt with me, we talked about ourselves. We learned more about each other that anyone knew about us in the hour. I think me and Bradley were now best friends. He even thinks so.

At home the end of the day. I think it went well. I told my mom about how Bradley was my new best friend, and she said I could invite him over while she goes to her meeting.

"Hey Bradley!!! Wanna come over to my house to make cupcakes and watch Perks?" I text him.

"Sure! That'd be fun! But what's Perks?" He replies.

"Perks of Being a Wallflower." I say. "Or Hunger Games, that's my favorite movie. OR OR we can figure out what movie to watch together."

"I'm on my way." He says.

Like, I would say, 10 minutes after my mom had left, he came to my house. We went to the kitchen after saying our hi's and started making cupcakes. We made them all different flavor and color, he taught me how.

"That's so cool," I say injecting the color. We put the cupcakes into the oven and went to pick out a movie.

"I think you have every movie on the planet, " he says smiling, digging through the hundreds of movies.

I laugh. He takes out Perks and reads it over.

"A chick flick? Really?" He says.

"I bet you $10 that you'll like it." I say.

"Man, first day and we're already makin' bets. Fine. We'll watch it." He says. I smile.

He puts it in the player while I make popcorn. I sit next to him on the couch with the popcorn and start the movie. I've seen it A LOT, so I can practically recite or mouth all the lines. I still cry.

At one point, Bradley starts crying, and I look over to see him.

"Bradley, are you crying?" I ask.

"No, I got something in my eye." He says laughing.

"It's a good movie, isn't it?" I say. He laughs.

"Ya..." He replies. I snuggle up next to him and he puts his arm around me. I smile and watch the movie.

"Charlie, I just wanna make sure, the first person who kisses you, loves you." Sam says, and begins to kiss Charlie. Which sends me and Bradley over the edge. We both cry and laugh that we're crying. After the movie, Bradley gives me $10 afterward.

"Ha." I say taking the $10. We pull the cupcakes out of the oven. They look great. I hug Bradley and he hugs me. We eat cupcakes, and he gets half the leftovers and I do too. Today was really fantastic.

Bradley's POV

In science, boys keep staring at Alex and girls glaring at her. I feel bad for her. I do really like her. I keep catching myself staring at her while we're 'writing' notes. I look down and think about her.

After class, I go get lunch. The crap they feed us is unbearable. I hate it. There was no food in the house, so I had to buy. I sit down at a table and wave Alex over.

"Should I bring lunch from now on?" She asks. I smile and nod.

"Ya, we had no food in the house yet so I had to eat here. Disgusting it is, really." I said.

Then a bunch of boys came and plopped at the table with their lunches. Alex stayed next to me, that was a relief, and while boys tried to flirt with her, we talked about ourselves. We learned more about each other that anyone knew about us in the hour. I think me and Alex were now best friends. It might be easier to ask her out if we're close friends.

That day, I go home and watch tv and play video games. Then my phone beeps. Alex texted me. I smile as I pick up my phone.

"Who ya texting?" My mom asked.

"My friend Alex. Girl." I say.

"Hey Bradley!!! Wanna come over to my house to make cupcakes and watch Perks?" Is what Alex texted me.

"Sure! That'd be fun! But what's Perks?" I replied, in wonder.

"Perks of Being a Wallflower." She says. "Or Hunger Games, that's my favorite movie. OR OR we can figure out what movie to watch together."

"I'm on my way." I say, and start walking over.

10 minutes later, I'm at her house. We said hi, then went into the kitchen. I taught her how to make all the cupcakes a different flavor, and like, tie dye them.

"That's so cool," She says, putting the color in. We put the cupcakes into the oven and went to pick out a movie.

"I think you have every movie on the planet, " I say smiling, digging through her hundreds of movies. I swear she had everything.

I take out Perks and read it over.

"A chick flick? Really?" I ask.

"I bet you $10 that you'll like it." She says.

"Man, first day and we're already makin' bets. Fine. We'll watch it." I says. She does that amazing smile.

I put it in the disc player while Alex makes popcorn. She sits next to me on the couch with the popcorn and starts the movie.

At one point, I actually start crying, and she looks over to see me,

"Bradley, are you crying?" she asks.

"No, I got something in my eye." I say laughing.

"It's a good movie, isn't it?" She says. I laughs.

"Ya..." I replies. She snuggles up next to me and I'm shocked. I put my arm around her, blushing. I smile and watch the movie.

"Charlie, I just wanna make sure, the first person who kisses you, loves you." Sam says, and begins to kiss Charlie. Which sends Alex and I over the edge. We both cry and laugh that we're crying. After the movie, I gives her $10, cause I did like the movie.

"Ha." She says taking the $10. We pull the cupcakes out of the oven. They look great. She hugs me and it feels like magic. I hug her back. We eat cupcakes and she gets half the leftovers and I do too. Today was really amazing.
