A winter's night
When there are no stars
and neither sun nor moon
on a winter's night
the sky takes the blue
that was abandoned by the pure white day.
On a winter's night
at 10 o'clock the sky is neither dark nor light
but somewhere in between.
On a winter's night the snow reflects bright
A winter's day
is a winter's night
both are bright
both are white,
the color of death.
