We sat down at the table and were talking.
"Hey,so wanna go talk to the new 6th grader? You know introduce ourselves.. And become friends with them? So they can say they have 8th grade friends?" Mason asked.
I looked over at the 6th grade table.
"Um,sure! Let's go." I grabbed his hand and we walked over to the 6th grade table.
We talked to them for a while and then my bestfriends bus showed up
"Well,we should probably go! It was nice to meet you guys! Have fun your first day! It's easy...don't worry!" I said hugging all 5 of the 6th graders I just met.
"Emily!!!" I heard my best friend Regina yell.
I turned around and she had her arms open wide! I ran over and jumped into them.
"I missed you so much!" I cried.
"I missed you too! Come on, lets go sit down!" She said pulling me back over to the table.
"Hey,Mason." She said hugging my brother.
"Hey,how was your summer?" He asked her.
"It was amazing, I was at summer camp and learned how to be a lifeguard!" She said.
"That's co-" he was cut off by his bestfriend,Khole.
"DUDE!" Khole yelled.
Mason ran up to him and gave him a "bro" hug. Well I think it was anyway.
"Hey,girls!" Khole said sitting in between me and Regina.
"Hey,Khole!" I said pushing him out of the way.(and just to be clear. It's supposed to be pronounced like Cole... If that makes sense)
Then I saw him.
A tall boy with brown hair, and green eyes.
"Whoa! Huba-Huba!" Regina said,fanning herself.
I looked at her and rolled my eyes.
"Momma likes!" I whispered in her ear.
Mason looked at me then at him.
"New kid?" He asked.
"I am guessing." I whispered back.
I looked back at him. I NEEDED to know him!

The Bell rang and I grabbed my bag and walked to my locker.
"Hey,Emily." Haily said pushing me into my locker.
Haily is the popular one in the 8th grade. She has been bullying me since the 6th grade. I honestly hate her! She made middle school a misery! And I could tell that this year...was going to be another repeat of my first......Middle School Misery!
