Chapter 4. All Over Again

Jax's P.O.V.

They escorted us to our rooms and told us to go to sleep. I didn't even know if they knew that I could hear them, I wondered if the others who were under the hallucination could hear them too.

I woke up late at night hearing a loud ringing sound shake through my room. It seemed as if everyone was still asleep so I lay there, wondering about what I am needed for here.

I woke again hearing rustling out side of my door. I got up and opened it slowly and quietly only to see a line if guys walking forward. I put on some day clothes and joined them searching for Jacob but without moving, only looking for him. I didn't want to act out of the ordinary and have the same fate Justin would have had.

The weird thing is, is that yesterday everyone was acting so stiff, not talking or looking around. But today there were groups of people talking and chatting but they weren't talking like they should have been. it was as if they were talking like the were children. none of them looked as scared as I did, its like they weren't faded that they were here, like they wanted to be here.

We walked out of the building and headed towards another one, The one that was in between our building and the one they took the girls into. There was also a line of girls going into the same building we were heading into now. I was looking for Alessia, when I spotted Kayla. I wanted to talk to her so bad but I didn't know if she would be able to her me. There were groups of girls chattering with each other as well. Speaking and acting the way the guys were too, I didn't understand why everyone was behaving so weird.

Soon the guys and the girls were being separated one again into hall ways with lockers. "Was this a school?" I thought to myself. I was escorted into, what I'm guessing is a class room because there were desks and a chalk board, and sat down at a group of 4 desks combined to make a table. I was accompanied by many other guys but still no sign of Jacob or the girls. I was beginning to doubt that Alessia was still alive, I mean if she was I would have seen her already.

Everyone was chatting and I wasn't in the mood so I put my head down on my dest and was surprised when I felt someone sit in the dest next to mine. I lifted my head up only to see that it was none other than Alessia herself.

"Jax," she said almost in tears, "I'm so happy your here, I- I thought... well I didn't know what to think, I was so scared that you had been found out and captured, but here you are." she said with glee.

"I'm glad you're here too, but have you seen Maddison and Kayla yet?"

"Oh yes I have, I talked to them and I tried to ask them about there thoughts on what was going on but they didn't know what I was talking about. I mentioned you and Jacob and... even Justin but they said that they have never heard of you guys. It's like they don't remember anything, like they had just forgotten their entire past."

"Think Alessia, that's what Justin said, he said that we would forget our I tore past so of coarse they wouldn't remember us. or anything for that matter."

"Oh yeah I forgot. Well any chance finding Jacob?"

"Sadly no, but I'm sure he's fine, I mean he didn't have the "power" to withstand these people's mind control so he should be alright. Maybe we'll get the chance to look for him later."

"I hope so." she remarked. "Oh look here come Maddison and Kayla now."

"Hey Alessia who's this?" they both said walking up to us and sitting at the desks across from us.

"This is my... um ... friend Jax."

"Hi it's... um ... nice too meet you." I said motioning my hand towards them so they could shake it.

"I'm so sorry that they don't remember you, bit if it makes you feel any better they didn't remember me ether." Alessia whispered into my ear.

"That's perfectly fine." I responded to her while they shook my hand.
