Chapter 5. We Remember How

Jax's P.O.V.

During class the teacher was teaching us things we learned in like first grade, it was simple math. Alessia and I knew how to do it but it seemed as if no one else did. Maybe when that wave came by and erased everyone's memories it also took away all that they knew about school. I wonder why people would want to do this I mean taking away innocent people's memories, that so sick and twisted. But at least we all get to see each other again.

"Class dismissed," the teacher boomed. "Free period may now begin." she said

Alesia's P.O.V.

"Hey Alessia want to hang out with us at the park?" asked Maddison and Kayla.

"There is a park here?"

"Yeah there's everything here, duh!" Kayla commented.

This is all so weird, I thought to myself, why could no one else remember? Why are people doing this? Why did they take us away from our families just to give us a life here,? wherever here is.

"Oh um, yeah sure lead the way."

They took me to the park and went on the slides and stuff acting like children. I just sat on the swings wondering how my family was doing. My little sisters birthday was coming up, I was so happy to spend it with her because she was turning 5. I miss my family, I wonder if they know I'm gone or if the people who brought us here did something to them. thinking about someone hurting my family made my blood boil and my face stated to turn a dark shade of red.

"Hello there beautiful." some random guy that I didn't recognize said.

"Um hello, do I know you?"

"If you don't already you will soon." Be said with a smirk.

Fed up with his seemingly player boy attitude I snarled out "Listen you have three seconds to tell me your name and stop hitting on me before I punch you in the gut and walk away smiling happily." I said staring into his gorgeous green, hazel eyes. Wait what, I did not just think that, his words took me out of my thoughts.

"Chill out feisty," he said licking his lips, "I'm Zach, what's your name?"

"Alessia" I said sternly.

"I like it" he said sweetly. How bipolar I thought.

He then started walking to a little hut looking structure near the end of the park. I'm not gonna lie I was curios so I got up and followed him. I opened the door and I didn't see him. I walked forward a little bit and the door shut behind me, the structure didn't have any windows so it was almost pitch black but I could see the outline of what I'm guessing is Zach's body.

"That wasn't funny, you scared me!" I commented putting my hands out in front of me while waking forwards so I didn't bump into anything.

"Hey you were the one who followed me in here. I'm guessing its because you want me, not gonna lie to you a lot of girls do." Funny even though I couldn't see him I knew there was a smirk in his face. "Sweet heart can you really not see its not even that dark." he said.

"No I can't see and you are an ass!" I groaned out still trying to find my way over to the door.

Suddenly I feel a pair of hands grab my torso and spin me around so my back was against a wall. then u felt lips being pressed against my neck right below my ear. I let out a moan as quiet as a mouse because that was my week spot. Then I felt his hands start traveling up and down my body and I let out another moan. He started to kiss my lips then I thought, wait I know this kiss, I've felt this kiss before. Then it hit me, I knew him from a party I went to a couple months ago, some guy and I had to do seven minutes in heaven as a dare. then he pulled away and whispered huskily in my ear, "seven minutes is up sweet heart." then he left and I just stood there more confused as i had ever been before. What just happened? I thought. Everyone who is here shouldn't remember their past so how could he remember me? Maybe he was like me and Jax, having the ability to resist whatever those people did to us all.

I brushed it off and walked back outside. Kayla and Maddison were now on the swings so I sat down and started talking to them about what just happened.

"What is a kiss?" they both asked.

"You guys don't know?"

"No we don't."

Weird I guess they don't remember. "It's when two people's lips touch." I said not quite knowing how to explain it to them.

"That's not allowed between genders, the only thing that is allowed is hugging that's how people show their friendship. were you two really close friends? Is kissing a way of showing that?" Maddison questioned.

"No, no it's not, just forget about it." I said. I wondered where Zach went, I mean I didn't like him but it was nice to feel someone's lips against mine again, it's been so long and it's not like people her can do that because Maddison told me it wasn't allowed.
