~Y/n's P.O.V~

"Uh I need to go somewhere" I say and Nagisa looks at me puzzled.

"Where are you going?" He asks. He's my best friend, he needs to know.

"Karma gave me a note saying to meet him by the lake and he'll explain everything" I say, giving him Karma's note. Nagisa reads it and makes a face.

"Will you go prepared?" He asks. I shrug and he gives back the note.

"Okay, be careful Y/n" He says and I thank him.

"Yeah, bye Nagisa" I say and pat his head.

"Okay bye Y/n!" He says and runs after some friends. I go and change routes to the lake nearby. I leave my bag by a hollow tree and secure it with some leaves. I find the lake and the red-headed boy sitting by it, skipping some rocks.

I walk out quietly, not making a sound. I don't know why my steps are always quiet or why my presence isn't ever detected, even by Korosensei sometimes. I hear Karma hum a low song. Why did he push me off? Why does he hate me when I hold no dangerous hatred for him like he does? I mean yeah now I'm mad, he pushed me off! I sit down a few feet away from him and stare at his back.

"So what's your explanation?" I ask and my voice makes him flinch a bit.

"Hm? Oh Y/n! I thought you weren't going to come at first" Karma says as he turns to me smiling. I just stare at him and fumble with my bandages.

"So what's your explanation?" I repeat. 

"Did you come prepared?" He asks, smirking. I'm a bit taken back by this. He stands up which causes me to stand as well.

"What-" I stop when a knife is pointed directly at me almost touching my nose. A real knife! The silver knife shines in the sun.

"Karma... " I say, my mouth a bit open but my e/c eyes stay calm. Karma stares at me smirking, that look in his eyes. I did come prepared but I don't dare touch the weapons on my right thigh and left sleeve.

"Aw Y/n you didn't come prepared?" Karma asks in fake pity. I show more fear on my face and back away but I'm tripped by my feet and Karma is on top of me. I don't know why but I feel my cheeks get hot. Karma smiles making my stomach turn. Why am I blushing?

"Until you defeat me, you'll get your answer" He says. Karma picks me up by my collar roughly and I grab onto his hand to not choke as he walks until I'm hovering over the lake. I gasp for better air and stare right at him.

"I've already won... " I breathe out and I give him a small smile. Karma gives me a confused look before I take out my knife from my sleeve in a flash. Karma lets go and I fall in the water but I pull his leg in with me and with the strong movement of the water, he's dragged in. Karma gasps and we struggle in the water but my hand doesn't let go of his shirt. He tries to stab me but I easily dodge it and cut his cheek lightly. Karma grits his teeth. He's really trying to harm me?!

"The end of the river!" Karma gasps out and I turn and see the water falling down the end. Good timing. I cling to him and trace my knife across his throat. His golden eyes widen and I give him an intense smile.

"(Y/n)... " He breathes out but he smirks. He slashes his knife but I barely dodge it only cutting my forehead. We fall and Karma turns me over so I'll be breaking his fall. Everything slows down.

"Just like you pushed me, you'll push me again" I say and I smile gently.

"Oh (Y/n), you still haven't changed from being weak" He says.
