~(Y/n)'s P.O.V~

His soft lips on mine. I freeze and stiffen up. I can't process this but I kiss back anyway. My cheeks flare up but this feels.... No (Y/n) stop. I push him back. His face turns blank.

"(Y/n)?" I open my eyes and look up from my desk. What? What the hell?! I was dreaming?!

"It's lunch, you should eat" Isogai says, handing me his sandwich. I look at it and slowly take it.

"Thanks..." I mutter. A blush spreads across my cheeks and my stomach growls loudly. I glance at Karma who's eating with Nagisa at his desk. I stand up, deciding to eat outside and I lay against the tree me and Nagisa usually sit by. I look at my bruised knees. It'll take a while for those to heal and the cream helps.

How stupid was I to think Karma would kiss me. But do I like him? No! He ruined my life! I sigh and take a bite of the sandwich. Delicious! I'll have to thank Isogai later and maybe if I'm lucky, get him something. My body aches so bad. I can't believe Nagisa knows now. I see blue at the corner of my eye. Oh no he's coming.

"(Y/n)!" I hear and instantly my head shoots up and I see Nagisa panting as he runs to me. "(Y/n)... "

"Yes?" I say, quietly. He kneels down and lightly touches my left knee. I flinch and look at him surprised. His blue eyes stare at me sadly and I bite the inside of my cheek.

"Why didn't you tell me?" He asks. I stay quiet and look at my knees.

"I couldn't" I simply say.

"They hurt you," Nagisa says. "I can help you"

"How?" I say, looking at him. "How could you help me? My brother can't even help me."

"We can figure something out" Nagisa says.

"Does anyone else know?" I ask. Nagisa looks away and i see worry in his eyes.

"No...no, no, no Nagisa... who did you tell?" I say quickly, my heart dropping to my stomach.

"I-I told Karma..." He says. "He asked about the bruises on your knees"

I look at him in shock. Why? Why Karma?! I swallow back my tears and take another bite of Isogai's sandwich.

"He's pretty mad you know" Nagisa says gently touching the grass.

"Why is he mad?" I ask a bit irritated.

"I don't know actually," He says shrugging. "But I am too, I want to protect you."

"I can protect myself" I say.

"Clearly you can't" I hear and I whip my head to see Karma leaning on the tree, staring at us. When did he get here? I look at him and back at the ground. I rub my sore arm and groan inwardly.

"You should've told Nagisa at least" Karma says.

"Why do you care?" I ask.

"Because you shouldn't be living like that" Karma says.

"I don't want to see my best friend get hurt" Nagisa says.

"I can't do anything about it!" I say loudly. "I can't! They'll come after me!"

They both stay quiet as I struggle to get myself together. No tears please no tears.

"Have you tried doing anything?" Karma asks loud. I look up and see his serious face. "Have you tried changing something?"

"N-No but-"

"Then how do you know they'll come after you?" He asks. I hold my tongue and stay quiet. Nagisa puts his hand on my shoulder.

"Why did you come then? To only say that?" I ask.

"Like I said (Y/n), I want to help you" Nagisa says.

"How?" I ask. They stay quiet.

"It's hopeless," I say. "You should leave it alone... no one was suppose to know anyway."

I stand up but Karma pushes me back down and instantly I protect my face with my arms and shut my eyes tightly. I open my eyes and see them looking at me in surprise.

"You can't keep living like this" Karma says. The bell rings. It's time for P.E... well at least for them. Karma walks away and Nagisa helps me up.

"He's right, you can't keep living like that...I promise I'll help you okay?" He says giving me a small smile. I smile a bit and we walk to class but Korosensei appears before us.

"Nyohohoho Nagisa! You'll be excused of P.E today to take care of (Y/n)" Korosensei says. Nagisa looks at me and nods.

"Okay Korosensei!" Nagisa says.

"You are free to watch them" Korosensei says. He disappears and we both go sit by the tree again.

"Can we go by the lake?" I ask.

"Yeah sure" Nagisa says and we walk through some trees and find the lake. We sit down and I put my head on his shoulder and we stay there quiet.

"Your heart is a city
Your eyes are a fixture
The mind tells a story"

I start to sing quietly.

"With ten thousand pictures
We stumble upon it
Fell through the ceiling tiles"

The lake shimmers in the sunlight and I hear Nagisa hum along.

"We drew up a landscape
We climbed down a ladder
Carved out a memory"

I sing a bit louder closing my eyes as I rub the bruises.

"To follow the pattern
And now on a clear glass wall
I can see my faith
You know it's never too late"

Nagisa hums. It's funny, last time I told him to sing and he sounded really funny and after that he only hums when I sing.

"Oh, if you're hearing this
I must have made it through
Oh, when the clouds are burned"

I sing louder and relax. What can I do to get away from mom and dad? I'm so used to it, it scares me.

"Open up my window
I see the sky's still blue"

This song is really beautiful, Nagisa likes it too. I stop singing and I suddenly feel sleepy.

"It hurts..." I mutter. "The bruises... the beatings... the lonely nights."

Nagisa pulls me closer comforting me. I need to stop crying. Assassins shouldn't cry.
