I swear I have broadened my vocabulary by twice as much as it was before summer last year just because of fanfiction. Seriously, in my English, at the beginning of the year, we started all of these vocabulary sheets and I knew a lot of the words from fanfiction. You know like, conspicuous and other stuff like that
