"Who-Who are you?" I asked the voice, looking for life among the blackness. I heard a giggle.

"You don't know who I am? I see...my plan has worked perfectly."

"So...you did this to me? That must mean that you know who I am. I'm not sure what you did or who you are, but I hate you already."

"That makes sense. We are, in fact, enemies." I have enemies? Why? I kept floating in the blackness. I had a feeling the person was watching me.

"So...I'm trapped in this blackness, you trapped me here, and there's no way I can get out?" I asked the voice.

"Why, of course! I took control of your mind! Then after using you in my plan, I erased your memory and threw you down a bottomless pit!

"A bottomless pit?" I asked with a small laugh. "Bottomless pits are by definition, impossible! I'm going to hit something eventually!"

"You may think that..." I was getting really annoyed.

"LISTEN!" I shouted at the voice. "I WANT YOU TO TELL ME RIGHT NOW WHO YOU ARE, WHO I AM, AND WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON!" I heard a little giggle.

"It's hilarious! You...you can't remember anything!" I couldn't let this person win. No. I had to show him I couldn't be beaten...even though I pretty much was beaten. Sometime. Somehow. Ugh! Why can't I remember anything?

"Mabel!" I said suddenly. The voice paused its laughter. "What have you done with Mabel?" I had no idea why my brain was filled with that name. I couldn't even remember my own. But it was like that person was the only one that mattered.

"How do you remember...your tw-" The voice stopped."No." He said under his breath. "No more information. He can't get his memory back and ruin everything!"

"I heard that!" I retorted.

"Quiet you!" The voice snapped. "Accept that you have been overpowered. I've finally won. Enjoy the pit for all eternity!" I glanced down and noticed a bright light coming closer. The center of the earth? A dream? I cringed as I reached the blinding light. There was a strong pushing up, and when I opened my eyes, I was standing on ground, next to a pit and a sign that read, "Bottomless Pit."

"What an idiot..." I mumbled, thinking about the voice. "He just believed this was a bottomless pit because of a sign? How'd I get to the top of the pit anyway?

"What? But how?" I turned to see a short, pudgy, nine year old kid with white hair that was bigger than his head. I remembered the color white...was it the shade of this guy's hair? So this was my enemy...who erased my memory, used me in some sort of plot, knows who Mabel is and wants to like kill me or whatever.

"Yeah, I don't think that pit is bottomless," I told him.

"No matter" the kid said with a shrug and a smug grin. You have nothing. No shelter, family, memory! You're doomed, Pines!"

"Pines?" I asked.

"Never mind. I meant um...I'm watching you..." I was glad to get my mind off that walking freak show. I had to make my few memories connect, figure out what happened that landed me in this situation, and somehow save the day.

"Unhand me! I'm not kissing you!"

"Yes you are, sugar dumpling! You are my girlfriend! And I love you!"

"Hey! Watch the sweater!"

"Anything for you, dearest..."

"You're not getting away with this Gideon. He'll come and find you. He always does because he's like a kajillion times stronger, smarter, and braver than you!"

"Bite your tongue! You will not speak of him while you are under my roof!"

"Tents don't have roofs."

"Of course. Sorry for snapping at you my sweet. I don't mean you no harm...now is there anything I can get for you?"

"Just leave me alone for a while."

"Of course my lil peach!"

"Yuck. Totally not my idea of an epic summer romance. I know you're our there. I'll know you'll get through this...Dipper...
