Part 9

"Speaker phone." an officer whispered behind me. 

I oblige and press the button.

"Ah, Mr.Styles. How are you?" a man's voice came through the phone.

"Where's Colin?" I snap back.

"I'm fine thanks for asking." he laughs. 

"Don't make me ask again."

"All right, all right. She's right here. Quite frisky. Nearly kicked me in the face yesterday, had to tie her up because of it. She's trying to squirm her way out right now. It's quite the sight Harry. I'd bet you'd enjoy it." he barks out.

If I could only reach throught the phone, this guy would be dead.

"You may wonder why I'm calling. Remember that one time you said you'd do anything to have your girlfriend back? That's still on the table correct?"

"Yes, whatever you want. Name the price."

"Whatever I want?" the man questions.

"Did I stutter?" I snap back, tired of this little game.

"1.5 million dollars. Left at a spot of my choosing. And in return your girlfriend."

I look at the officers, who nod in agreement with the deal.

"Alive?"

He laughs, "Fully breathing, blinking, clothed, Colin."

"Deal. Where do you want the money dropped off?" 

"Woah, woah, woah. I need time to think about the place."

"Time?" I yell. "You've had her for two, nearly three days. You knew I said I'd do anything." 

"I'll get back to you as soon as I can on the placement of this money and where you can pick up your girlfriend." 

"Let me speak with her." 

"I'm afraid that can't happen. You see she tried to escape the other day, to no avail, so she knows the location we're at. Now, if you really want to speak with her, and she just so happens to reveal the location, wanna know what you'll find? Yeah, you probably don't want that to happen do you?" I could tell he had a smile of his face. 

"But I'll send her your love. Be in touch with you soon. Have a good rest of your night Mr.Styles." he says hanging up before I could say anything.
