Kou's POV...

The sound of explosion and screams of agony could be heard throughout the goblins' hideout, leaving no survivors among the group. In the distance, Azusa and I ran away from the scene as fast their feet would take them together with a certain mage with brown hair and mismatched blue and silver eyes.

"That was cool" I said, making Azusa nod in agreement after successfully escaping from being held captive.

Flashback...

"LET US OUT YOU BASTARDS!!" I screamed at the top of my lungs. However, no one paid attention to me and I was laughed at. All we knew is that we were kept alive because the masked man needs us. Not that I cared about but I need to find Yumiko. I need to find her, knowing that somewhere out there, she's still alive.

"Calm down, Kou-nii" Azusa said while putting a hnd on my shoulder. Its really great news that he's not timid anymore but what irked me is that the prison is the same as that time with the Tsukinamis, sucking out our powers and leaving us powerless. Even the fact that my brother's too calm despite the situation isn't helping eithe----

We both instantly covered their eyes when a rather sudden explosion. The goblins all screamed and demanded of the identity of the intruder. "She's here" Azusa chuckled, making me smirk when a familiar chant in ancient greek language from a very familiar person was heard.

Suddenly, the room was filled with lightning and screams of agony. The goblins all burnt to crisp along with some little green Ayato-like electricity crackling were left after the surprise attack. "Thanks, Makenzie-san" Azusa said as the said sorceress nods and helped us out before we all made their way out of the hideout.

"Hey, isn't that..." she said, making us look at a young tengu behind us. Makenzie suddenly had her guard up when Azusa put a hand on her shoulder, gesturing that this demon is an ally as we listened to the message from a certain Beast Tamer.
