Yui's POV...

"EVERYONE HOLD YOUR GROUND!!" I screamed before ripping another human's head off. Its been two months already since the group left. I decided to stay so that I could help Lady Christa and the Elders for the war. We thought that the enemies are true to their words. But the moment Yumi-chan, the brothers and the guardians left, the humans all started attacking us.

Yes we have supernatural abilities but we didn't expected that they are all well prepared. Not to mention that the humans have better weaponry and equipment than us. "Yui-sama!! we need to fall back!!" one of the lower rank demons said. I gritted my teeth in frustration that for all the times, why does the ambush have to be when we're short of people that are capable of fighting?? I could see that even the elders are having a hard time.

Suddenly, a loud explosion errupted near us. We were sent away but I way quickly to flip my body and land on solid ground safely, ignoring the pain on the huge bleeding gash on my arm. My eyes glew and I used my power of cancel, disengaging their bombs useless. "Payback time" I said before we all run towards our persecutor as the scent of blood fills the air.

Asagi's POV...

"Hey Prince... wanna take turns??" I asked the blonde elven royalty who was sitting beside the tree. Lucifena had already been long asleep due to fatigue since she's the one that casted that teleportation magic and as for Nadia, she fell asleep sometime after the archdemon.

Its been a long day. Not to mention the fact that Eliot is the one who guarded the night before we came to the Mountain of Obsidian, fought with us in the cave and is now guarding for the night. I know he's exhausted now but he seems to not mind it for us so I made a proposal.

However, he told me that he's fine and I should sleep. I don't really like it that someone treats me weak, but this guys isn't like that. He has all the purest intentions and is a very gentleman.

"I'm the man of the group, Miss Komori" he said with a gentle smile gracing his youthfull face "Its my duty to protect the women... even if they are capable of fighting for themselves"

How stunned I was. Damn if I'm single, I would have dated this guy. He's very handsome, a gentleman and very smart like Skye too. He's also excellent in combat but... I think his eyes are drawn to someone else...

"You seem to be very close with Amaya-san..." I said and his eyes suddenly became melancholic. It seemed like he had a thing about the brunette. I smiled and sat beside him, feeling the cold night as I told him to tell me about it in a friendly way.

Not that I'm prying into their relationship---- if they actually have one ----but I just wanted to be the friend that he can open up to.

"Did you hear that??" Eliot suddenly snapped his head towards a certain direction. I was about to ask him about it when a scent of blood fills the air. He told me to wake the others and checked it out. I nodded as I watch him leave, hoping that nothing bad would happen to him.

3rd Person's POV...

The sound of a certain group dashing through the forest echoed throughout the distance. An elf running solo, followed by his companions towards the sound he last heard while the other was a group being chased by several goblins.

"DAMNIT!!" Satran hollered panic "IT WAS ALL YOU TWO's FUCKIN' FAULT!!!!!!!!!!"

The bluenette beast tamer and Paige just sweatdropped while Ruki made a defeated sigh as they all ran faster than their feet would take them. They were actually gonna take it low since they cannot afford any casualties for the time being.
