Deep Connection

Chapter 7

I wake up to my alarm clock playing music. It turn over and press the off button. I look at the time and it says 6:20. It's pretty early for a Monday, but I won't be able to fall back asleep since I already woke up. I was about to roll out of bed, whe suddenly I got a phone call.

"Hello? " I groaned into the phone.

"Hey girl. So Jada and Chelsea invited us to watch the clips vs. warriors game at Jada's house tonight. So you down? " Stacy told me.

"Uhh yeah that would be cool. " I said still half asleep.

"Ok good. Bring the kids. So it will be Jada, Chelsea Redick, Tori Crawford, you and I. All of the kiddos will be there so, you know please come. " She excitedly told me.

"I'll come. Don't worry. " I replied.

"Ok good. And Jada also said that they do this quite frequently when the guys are away. So get used to it since your with Blake. Ok. Got to go, see you at work. " With that Stacey ends the phone call.

"Uhh bye. " I said still trying to register what she just said.

I roll out of bed and go to Liam's room. I open the door and see Liam knocked out on the bed, but Ford is up. Ford looks at me and I walk over and pick him up. It's pretty early so I won't wake Liam up.

Once I got Ford in my arms, I walk out the room and close the door quietly behind me. I walk down stairs and sit at the island with Ford on my lap. My phone then rings. I check my phone and Blake's name pops up. I slide my phone to answer the call and bring the phone to my ear.

"Hey babe. " I said in the phone.

"Hey how's everything going? " He asked.

"Fine just in the kitchen with Ford. " I replied.

"What about Liam? " He curiosily questioned.

"He's knocked out in his room. It's pretty early. I just found Ford sitting there. " I answered.

"Ahh. Can you put Ford on the phone? " He asked me.

"No problem. I'll put you on speaker. " I said. 

I bring my phone away from my ear and click the speaker phone button.

"Ok your good. " I said into the phone.

"Hey Ford you wanna talk to daddy. " I continued.

"Hey Fordo. How you doing? " Blake said. 

"Hi dada. I good. " Ford said.

"Are you being good for Ms. Kyra? " Blake asked.

"Yeah. " Ford said laying on me. 

"Great. I miss you. And I'll see you in a few days ok. " Blake said.

"Ok daddy. Love you. " Ford replied.

"I love you too, little man. I'll talk to you later ok." Blake told Ford.

"Ok. Bye dada! " Ford said into the phone.

I take the phone off speaker and put it to my ear again.

"Hey so what day will you be back? I miss you. " I asked Blake.

"Thursday. And I miss you too. Don't worry these few days will fly by. " Blake told me.

"I know I just miss your company. In every way. " I said the last part seductively.

"Kyra, stop. You're making me horny. " Blake whined.

"Sorry. Wasn't trying to. But when you get back prepare yourself. " I told him.

"Why? " Blake hesitantly questioned.
