"Ladies and gentlemen we will be landing soon, at Los Angeles International, in the next 20 minutes, please fasten your seat belts and pull your seats forward. And thank you for flying American Airlines." said the pilot.
I have just woken up from my quick nap. Liam, my 4 year old son, was laying on my shoulder. He has been sleeping the whole plane ride here. I am pretty sure the whole moving thing is still rough on him. What can I say, he gets his stubbornness from me.
We are just coming from Houston, Texas. I have just landed a high paying job at UCLA as their new Surgical Oncologist. So we basically packed our bags and left Houston. Despite having good job in another state, I will still miss my family, friends and coworkers. And I am pretty sure Liam is going to miss his friends.
The plane just started to desent, towards the airport. I am so ready to get off this plane. I want to get to my new house and everything. I am just tired.
"Ladies and gentlemen we have just landed at Los Angeles International, please wait until the seat belt sign has flashed off. Thank you for flying American Airlines and have a good night." chimed the pilot.
"Liam ,honey, wake up time to go." I whispered softly.
" Where are we mama." He replied softly while rubbing his right eye.
"We are in LA sweetheart. Remember." I said.
"Oh yeah. Mama I'm hungry can we get food. I'm starving!" He whined.
"Of course, hun, after we get out of the airport. We will get dinner and go home." I laughed.
He nodded and unbuckled his seatbelt. He was about to get up and hop over me to get to the aisle, but I stopped him before he could do anything.
"Hey, Liam, wait your turn and don't you dare pull that move again, you hear me." I said firmly.
"Yes, ma'am." He said.
I nodded and kissed him on his forehead. We waited until most of the people were out. Then we got up and I got our carry on bags out of the over head bin. Once we got our luggage, we walked out of the plane into the airport. Once we got our checked luggage we went to the LAX parking lot.
"Mama when are we going to get food." Liam whined.
"Soon honey," I sighed "Soon."
Then we got into my blue mustang. When I bought the house in Cali, I came out here to check it out, I then bought it and bought furniture too. Also, while in LA, my friend and I went to a dealership. From there I got a car drove it here to the parking lot and flew back to Houston.
Once, we got into the car we drove to McDonald's, got food, and went home. We didn't get home until around midnight. Since the plane landed at 10:45.
Once we got home, we got our luggage and got inside. I unpacked our clothes and put them in the closets and dressers. Suddenly, I heard Liam yawn.
"Liam, honey, time for bed." I yawned.
He yawned and I got him into his pajamas. I took him into his room and tucked him in. I kissed him on the head goodnight.
"Goodnight Liam, I love you so much honey." I whispered.
"Night mama, love you too." He whispered back in sleepy voice.
I got into the master bedroom and looked through the dresser. I got a pair of shorts and a t-shirt. I then took a 15 minute shower and got into my pajamas. I then got into bed.
I got work tomorrow at UCLA hospital, a 8 o' clock shift. So, I need all the sleep I can get once my head hit the pillow I was out like a light.
