Deep Connection

Chapter 3

After two whole days it is finally Wednesday. And I have to say I am excited for tonight. Stacy and I are going to the Clippers game, then Blake and I are going out to dinner. I have everything ready. I am letting Liam sleepover at his friend's house right after preschool, so I am free. Plus I don't have to drop him off because the mom said she will take him with them.

I hurry and get up. I first started with my workout, which consisted of the treadmill, pushups, situps, pull ups and the punching bag. Then I go wake Liam up and get him breakfast. I then hurry and take a shower, put my makeup and get my clothes on for work. I eat breakfast and leave my house to drop Liam off at school. I said goodbye to him and left for work. Work went by quickly. Stacy came home with me so we could go to the game together. Then I will ride with Blake for our date and she will drive back to my place and crash for the night. 

Stacy and I take showers and get ready. I called Stacy and told her to come into my room to help me with my outfit. I decided on a razor back tank top with ripped blue jeans, gray/ tan/ red pumps, a red bracelet and black and gold earrings. (*AN: Ignore the black purse, red necklace and red and gold ring.*) I then grabbed a black clutch for tonight. I put on my clothes and stepped outside my room and went downstairs.

"Damn bitch, you look hella good tonight. With that outfit Blake is going to be hitting that tonight. " Stacy said excitedly.

"Ugh no he isn't and it is a simple date, so don't go crazy." I replied.

In response Stacy rolled her eyes. The game starts at 7:30 and right now it is 6:30. So we leave the house and drive over to Staples Center. We get there at surprisingly 25 minutes so we have extra time. We make sure Stacy and I's make up is fine before we get out the car. We walked around back like Blake told me this morning when we talked on the phone. There the security let us in and gave us our passes. We walk inside through a tunnel and we then make it onto the court we walked to the seats Chris said he got for us which was next to his wife's.

"Hi you must be Kyra, I'm Jada, Chris's wife. It's so nice to meet you! " She said excitedly.

"Hi it's nice to meet you too and this is my friend Stacy. " I replied.

"Hi nice to meet you! " Stacy said.

" Nice to meet you too! " Jada replied.

We talk while looking at the basketball court where the guys are warming up. I see Blake and I have to say, him playing basketball makes him even more fine. And it seems like he read my mind because he turned around and saw me in the seat. I smiled at him and he winked at me. Oh my god, he needs to wink at me more often because damn he is even more fine when he winks.

Next thing I know it is 7:30 and the game started. I am excited because I love basketball it is my favorite sport. So far it was really good the Clippers were in the lead most of the game. And I have to say OKC sucked ass. Blake was on fire so far he scored 30 points. Next thing I know the game is over. The Clippers won 110- 81. Blake I have to say made me really impressed. He scored 40 points. 

Stacy, Jada and I head down the aisle and into the tunnel. I have to say that Jada is really nice and I can see her and I becoming great friends. We walked and finally got to the hallway and sat outside the locker room since we weren't allowed in. So we waited a good five minutes before some guys came out. Some of the players say hi to me and when I saw DJ and Chris they gave me hugs. I congratulated them for their win. 

"Do you guys know where Blake? " I asked.

"Why so you guys can do the-" DJ tries to say before I cut him off.

"Uh no, we are going on a simple date. Don't make it weird." I glared at him.

"Yeah ok, whatever you say. " DJ said while winking.
