Colleen's POV
It was my final show in New York for this leg of the tour and I was super excited to spend the next 3 days exploring the city before heading back to LA. I was backstage and I could already hear the crowd chanting for Miranda but first, I had to do my bit. I took a deep breath as I heard my cue and walked on stage into the spotlight. I began to sing my opening song as I scanned the room. There were around 200 people there, some kids dressed as Miranda, some parents standing awkwardly with their arms folded, a couple of people who looked like they didn't have a clue what was going on and one person who instantly caught my eye. It was a guy, he looked as though he was in his early 20's. He was tall and dressed in a plain black V-neck T-shirt, some dark jeans and grey high tops, He had dirty blonde hair and was holding a beer in his hand, he looked a little confused but he made eye contact with me and something was stopping me from breaking it. I stared into his sparkly blue eyes for what felt like forever until I had to do my quick change into Miranda. The show went on and I glanced at him a couple of times, I caught him laughing which made me smile slightly as there's no better feeling than winning someone over who clearly didn't have very good expectations of Miranda. But it was more than that. The show ended and it was time to get ready for the M&G. I silently wondered if he would be there but I highly doubted it. Why would he want to meet me anyway? He obviously doesn't know anything about me.
