Joshua's POV
It was the next evening and we were at the comedy club waiting on the show to begin. Tyler and I watched a few of this Miranda girl's youtube videos the previous night but honestly, I just didn't get it. I went anyway to get out for a while. We both stood at the bar and ordered a beer whilst we waited. Soon the lights dimmed and a voice came through the speaker. "Please put your hands together for.. Colleen Ballinger" and the place erupted in screams and cheers. I looked at Tyler and mouthed "Colleen?" He nodded with a grin on his face and playfully hit me on the arm "Miranda Sings isn't a real person you dumbass, she's a character. Played by her!" and he pointed to the stage as a brown haired girl who was much more attractive than Miranda walked into the spotlight. She was wearing a silver sparkly dress and a pair of black high heel shoes, her hair fell past her shoulders in loose curls. She greeted her fans with a wave and soon the music started playing. "Something has changed within me.." she started singing and looked into the crowd as she continued. "Something is not the same.."
and at that very moment her eyes stopped wandering past all of her screaming fans and they locked with mine. She kept singing whilst staring into my crystal blue eyes for at least 20 seconds before running around the stage and changing into her Miranda outfit. "Woah, that was weird.." I said quietly. "What was?" asked Tyler. "Oh nothing, never mind." I quickly replied. But it wasn't nothing.. there was something about those 30 seconds that made me feel something that I've never experienced before. I continued to watch the show until the end, I laughed once or twice at the Miranda character but the whole time all I could think about was the girl behind the lipstick.
