Joshua's POV
After the show ended I noticed a small line forming in front of the stage, most people had already left but there were around 50 people waiting. "Wanna go meet her?" Said Tyler. I instantly felt nervous but I had to see this girl up close, there was something about her. I nodded and we made our way to the end of the line. We were the last ones in line and before I knew it a tall brown haired girl who kinda looked like Colleen greeted us and motioned for us to go over to Colleen. Tyler went first, he spoke to her for around 30 seconds then stepped to the side. It was my turn. She looked over in my direction with her big brown eyes, still in the Miranda outfit. I walked over and she looked at me in silence for a few seconds before putting her hand out towards me. "Hi. It's nice to meet you." she said cheerily. I swallowed. "Hey, you too! I'm Joshua. You have a wonderful voice. Good job out there tonight." She smiled shyly and looked at the ground. I handed her my phone so she could take a selfie of us. She pulled a silly face and I did my signature douchebag pout and then it was time for me to leave. Colleen opened her arms to give me a hug and I wrapped my arms around her and held on for a little bit longer than I should've, I could feel her heart beating against me and it felt kinda nice. She thanked me for coming and I gave her a smile and walked off to get Tyler. "Wow. that felt.." I didn't know how to finish my sentence but I knew I felt something.
The night was still young so Tyler and I decided to go to a karaoke bar along the street to have a few more drinks. I couldn't stop thinking about my brief encounter with Colleen and I silently wished I could see her again. You know when people say be careful what you wish for? Well now I know why..
