Mr Dursley began pacing the room and scratched his head. He didn't know what to say. Dudley wanted to know the truth. If Mr Dursley told Dudley a lie, he would hate him! If he told him the truth, Dudley would hate him even MORE! He didn't know what to do. It looked like Dudley was taking sides with Harry and that wasn't good!

Mrs Dursley was scared too. Does she defend her husband or defend her Dudders? She chose her descison and stood her ground by Mr Dursley. Together, they would stand up to their son and nephew and would make them listen to who they must. She was more scared of Dudley somehow becoming a freak than him siding with Harry! But what good would it do demanding him to come back to them? Nothing. He would just not listen until they told him what he wanted to hear. But what he wanted to hear wasn't going to please him. At all.

"Well? How? Tell me!" Dudley was demanding it now. Mr Dursley swalllowed. He didn't want to be weak or feel small. But Harry was making it happen. He felt tiny. He felt like an ant. And Harry was a giant. He felt like he was about to collapse under the pressure.

"T-they were killed." Mr Dursley whispered. He didn't look up. He stared at the ground and every now or then he blinked. He was disappointed. Not in Harry or Dudley or Mrs Dursley. He was disappointed in himself. For being weak and ignorant. Most fathers or uncles in this case, would have slapped that smirk off Harry's face but he couldn't bring himself to do so. He had also promised Mr Albus Fellow that he wouldn't lay a finger on Harry. Another lie he had yet to tell his son.

Dudley stared at him in gob-smack horror. His face paled and he immediately sat down. His eyes were whirling and his hair looked like it was full of blood. Dudley LOOKED like he had just walked out of a horror movie. He didn't understand. Of course, he did. But he didn't want to believe him. Murdered.

"BY WHO, DAD!?" He suddenly roared. Mr Dursley burst into desperate sobs. His face was streamed with tears of salt and he couldn't say it. A WIZARD! He wanted to shout. A WIZARD KILLED THEM! But he couldn't. He would have to make another failure as a father and tell him a lie. He knew what Dudley thought had happened. Dudley thought it was HIM. Maybe he should tell Dudley that. Then Harry would have to go into a care and everybody would be happy and safe and- Mr Dursley stopped himself there. Dudley was looking like a ghost. Mr Dursley knew what he saw. A liar. A hypocrite. A murderer. And a failure.

"A guy from the street" He whispered. Harry shot his head up and stared at him. His face had been truimphant and gay but, now. It was furious. His expression was made of a cold substance and the icy glare that he was sending Mr Dursley made chills go down his spine. Dudley noticed Harry's expression. He turned to look at his dad. Dudley was horrified. He could tell his Dad was lying now. No way would Harry be reacting like this if he was telling the truth. It was then that Dudley realised he hated Mr Dursley. He despiced him. He was a liar.

"Tell the truth, Dad. Was it you?" He demanded. "Did you kill them?" Mr Dursley laughed. It was a cold laugh. Like a murderer's. This seemed to convince him.

"YOU DID KILL THEM!" Dudley exclaimed, mouth hanging open with horror."How could you? How could you do such a horrible thing?"

I was beginning to feel guilty. I was tearing this family apart- even if it was over a rather important matter. I shouldn't have been here. Even if my family weren't dead. They deserved to be alive. Even if they weren't fully human. They were wizards.

"NO!" Mr Dursley bellowed." 'Course I didn't kill them, you childish boy. N- - Now lets stop talking nonsense and put this shopping away, yes?"

Mine and Dudleys glares became suddenly vicious.

"NO!" They screamed together.

"NO NO NO NO!" Mrs Dudley squeaked."We can't keep it from them anymore, can we? They can simply find out another way! Especially him, Vernon. The times coining soon anyway- less than a month away now. Come on, Vern. It's now or never"

Yet Mr Dudley shook his head. I sighed in exasperation. This was all too bad.

"Okay then. I'll just tell them" She smiled at us, a genuine smile and gestured towards the sofa. I watched her take some deep breaths and then, she was ready.

"This is going to sound as if a belong in a loony dump, Dudders, but you both want to know so.......here it goes"
