Chapter 3 - Injuries

Peggy POV

"Sit" Tony said casually not facing away form the screen pointing to the bed thing for the x-Ray machine. Can you even call it a bed, I dunno.
"You'll be fine Peggy" James said in a calming tone as he rubbed his hand a back a small bit for comfort.
"Ok everyone out" Tony said calmly turning around facing us. "Ok Peggy sit still. It'll only take a few seconds." He motioned for me to lie down so I did, he set the x-Ray thing up and went behind the screen.
(Don't judge only ever had a wrist and cheek x-Ray done, I'm not an expert!!)
It beeped and dos its thing and Tony came back round from behind the screen.
"Well Peggy it's not to serious but enough to keep you off training for a few weeks."
"Ahhh man!" I said waving my arms in the air. "Oh!" I flinched and held my arm/wrist.
"Careful!" Tony said with a chuckle. "You've bruised your wrist and have a dislocated knee, you'll have to where a knee brace for a couple weeks"
"Noooooo, Crutches!!!" Ugh!!
"Hahah don't worry, your lucky you didn't break anything"
"Yeah" I let out an annoyed sigh.
"wait here while I get everything" not long after Tony left Pym came in.
"Hey Peggy"
"Oh. Hey Pym" I said kinda sadly as I turned my head back to see.
"Sooo, what ya do"
"Eh, nothing much" I let out a small light laugh, "just a bruised wrist and a dislocated knee" Pym let out a laugh.
"You serious!" Pause for a laugh "man bad luck"
"Actually I was rather lucky" I said almost silently under my breath, luckily he couldn't hear it over his laughs.
"Hey ya go" Tony said as he came back, "but first I'm going to need to put you knee back in place, it's gunna hurt" he liked up at me "ok?!" I nodded hesitantly.
"Hey, it'll be over before you realise" Pym said as he out stretched his hand for me to hold. I took it great-fully, I gave a shy smile.
Tony took hold of my knee and started to move it, I cringed, and squeezed Pym's hand. Geez it hurts. Tony hesitantly removed his hands and gave me an apologetic look that said 'sorry, but I have to' I sighed, nodded and closed my eyes. Tony's grip on my knee resumed but the pain was worse, I could feel him begin to move it and I the grip I hand on Pym's hand became stronger, I could feel a scream tug at my lips but I didn't utter a sound. I just scrunched my eyes tighter and almost crushed Pym's hand. When it was over a couple droplets of water dripped from my eyes but I could feel some pressure release from my knee.
"It's over" I heard Pym whisper into my ear. I saw him shake his hand, oops.

Pym POV

I offered my hand for her to take as it would be painful as Tomy just said. "Hey, it'll be over before you realise" I said trying to reassure her, I hate it when she's down. Tony put a slight grip on her knee and she gripped my hand, I could tell it hurt, I hate to see her like this. Tony let go and looked up at her, she sighed and nodded. This time he started to move t back in place properly and her grip on my hand fit stronger. Geez she's strong for our age and her size, I know she's the super soldiers daughter but seriously! When Tony stopped, she opened her eyes and a few tears fell. I whispered into her ear "it's over" she let go of my hand and visibly relaxed a bit. But dude that grip!! I shook my hand in hopes.
"Oops, sorry Pym." She apologised shyly.
"Eh, no probs, but I mean seriously you stronger than you look!" She let out a laugh, that cute sweet laugh. Tony went over the other side as he chuckled of the room and gathered the knee brace and crutches.
He came back over and bent down to her knee and place the brace on it and strapped it, by the looks of her face a bit tighter than comfortable.
"Here ya go" Tiny said helping her stand up and I hit the crutches.
"Great" she said sarcastically

Peggy POV

Pym gave me 'my' crutches, "great" I said sarcastically. I crutched my way over to the door, crutched is that a thing, oh well if it isn't, it is now. Pym held the door open, "thanks Pym" I said cheerfully.
"No probs, peg" he replied.
We soon arrived outside, and guess who was there, James, pacing round like an idiot. I lent over to Pym's ear,
"Hey I'm gunna go past, don't make a sound I wanna see if he notices" I whispered.
"Ok, if this works it's gunna be hysterical"
We made out way over past James, for crutches, these are amazingly silent!!
We passed him and once we made it outside we burst into a fit of laughter, because he was pacing the side of the wall it was easy to pass him.
"He didn't even realise" Pym managed to say through laughter. We were making our way to the kitchen to get a snack cus we were hungry. I looked around to see if anyone was near.
"Hey Pym you know seeming as i can't do much, your gunna need to help me pull some pranks on the others" I said with a grind
"It would be my honour" he mocked bowed, we both laughed. Aww the next few weeks are gunna be fun!!
