Chapter 9 - Loss

I wish my parents were here, all our parents. Torunn is lucky her parents are still alive. I sighed again. Dripping my hands to my lap and fiddling with my fingers.

"Ahhhh!" Pym's voice screamed in my ear as he shook my shoulders.
I screamed as I fell into the pool from the shock and the cold water.
"PYMMMMM! Ughhhh!!!" I showed up to him as I resurfaced.

Than I heard footsteps over Pym's failed attempt at hiding his laughter.

I got out the fountain and walked off. I was wet and cold, and I needed a shower.

James' POV

"Pym what did you do?" I ask with a smug knowing smile on my face.
"Ummm... I many or may not have pushed her... Into the umm... Fountain." Pym replied shyly looking down and fiddling with his hands.
"Pym!!" I shouted, as I stormed off to find my sister.

"Pegs?" I asked as i knocked on her bungalow door.
"Yeah" her small delicate reply came through.
"Can I come in?" I asked again.
"Sure"
I opened the door, it freaked slightly as it did. It was getting dark out

I walked in to see Peggy sprawled out under the covers looking out the window that was by her bed.

I sighed and sat down on the edge of the bed and rested my hand on her shoulder. She was small, delicate and fragile. If anything happened to her i don't know what would happen to me.

"Pegs, you ok?" I asked.
She mumbled something which I couldn't here.
"What did you say? I asked. She sighed and turned her head to slightly look at me.
"I miss mum and dad." She said quietly, looking form the bed sheet to the window then me. At first I was slightly shocked, she didn't even know out parents.
I lunged forward and gave her a hug, she leant her head on my shoulder and I could feel the warm liquid of her few tears, I held her tighter.
I pulled back and she wiped away the year tracks. I looked into her eyes.
"I know, I miss them too, but we can't change the past, we have to love to the future" I stated quietly looking her in the eyes, wiping away the last few tears. She hugged my tightly. And she pushed me backwards, so much so that I fell of the bed and now she was pinning me, oh no that won't do, I flipped it so I was pinning her. We laughed and both fell backwards on the floor side by side.
After just talking for a small bit about random stuff she yawned.
"Come on" I said shoeing her to the bed.
She whined "but I don't...-... Wanna" she said around a yawn. I laughed as she climbed in her bed and I tucked her in, she turned and faced the window/wall, "night James" she mumbled sleepily.
I chuckled "nights Pegs" as o kissed her forehead and left.

I went back to my bungalow and found myself really actually quite tired so I showered and dresses and went to sleep.
