*Cassidy's P.O.V*
"Let's go," Liam instructed, pulling me by the lower arm, dragging me to a hiding spot. I followed him, lowering my body so I wasn't spotted by any members of the opposing team. It wasn't much help being bitched at by Liam to run faster every second that passed, but I didn't want any arguments and so I kept my mouth shut and listened.
"In here," Liam lowered his voice so no one but me heard. He then began to squeeze into what looked like a giant mouse hole.
"You want us to hide in here?" I asked, looking at the little bit of space it had and wondered how the both of us were supposed to fit in there.
"Yes, now come on," He yanked my arm, catching me off guard as he pulled me in with him. I tried my best to squeeze myself in without squishing him in the process, but failed miserably as he complained that I hit his head with my leg. Of course I didn't do it purposely, it was an accident, which he seemed to have failed to understand.
Once I was finally settled in, uncomfortably might I add, I sighed, "So, what now?" I urged Liam who's face was extremely close to mine, rendering me to feel even more discomfited.
"Simple," he shrugged, glancing at me for a few seconds before returning his attention elsewhere, "we wait."
*10 minutes later *
We have been sitting here for the past ten minutes and so far, nothing exciting has happened. I shifted in my seat, trying to find a comfortable position to sit in as my ass began to feel numb. "Liam?" I spoke up, my voice dripping with boredom.
"Mm?" He answered, barely paying attention to me. He was too focused on the game to even focus on what I was saying.
"I think the game is finished." I stated the obvious, hearing the wail of the alarm go off seconds later that indicated the end of our game.
Great, well I'm glad I enjoyed myself, I thought sarcastically.
I glanced at Liam, expecting him to move or at least attempt to answer me, but he did neither. He just sat there, frozen in his own little world. By the looks of it, it seemed like he was trying to listen to something. I had no clue as to what though considering I heard nothing.
"Liam, what are yo-" he quickly covered my mouth with his hand, mouthing for me to 'shut up'. My eyes widened in surprise as I looked at him questionably.
Why didn't he want me to speak?
Becoming irritated at the fact that he interrupted what I was saying, I then narrowed my eyes at him. I didn't understand why he did what he did but it still managed to annoy me nevertheless. I pulled my head away from him, rubbing my mouth, "What the hell, Liam?"
"Shh," he repeated, his voice barely above a whisper, "I heard something."
I was about to protest and tell him he was full of shit, but immediately stopped myself from doing so when I heard something as well. I didn't know what the noise was or where it was coming from, but from the way it sounded it seemed like something was being dragged across the floor.
"What the fuck," I whispered to myself, trying to figure out exactly what direction it was coming from. My heart sped up when I heard it becoming louder, almost as if it was getting closer. I didn't know how to react or what to believe to say the least. I mean it could've been a worker or one of the guys walking around for all we knew, but something, a feeling you might say, told me it wasn't any of those.

Short, I know, but this is the first time I've updated in months so I hope you guys like it nevertheless. I'll try to update more often or whenever I can, but I promise it won't take months like it did for this chapter to be released so there's no need to worry about that. I really hope you guys still want to read this book though, even considering my long absence in updating it, but I promise you that I'm working on sparing time from my busy schedule to continue writing my stories for you all! So, until next time, love you guys and I hope you all have a great night! Lacie xx
