"They have a hangar bay," Kylas said, pacing quickly. The two were back inside the chamber prison after Ciella gave her little presentation to them. Alo sat looking up at Kylas, his legs crossed and his hands rubbing his temple."Indeed they do," Alo responded, "What are you planning, young Zolo?"
"What I'm saying is," Kylas said, turning to Alo, "Knowing them, they'll probably have some stray ships lying around. I'm saying we take one of them and get out."
"That won't work," Alo sighed, shaking his head. Kylas raised a questionable eyebrow and knelt in front of Alo.
"Why wouldn't it?" Kylas asked.
"Because of what I am," Alo answered, "One of the last Jedi presences in the galaxy. They'll notice I'm gone and I'm extremely sure that they'll know you're gone." Kylas cursed under his breath. As sure as he was that he wanted to leave, Alo had a point.
"We'll find a way to suppress our Force abilities," Kylas said.
"As powerful as you are," Alo said, shaking his head, "And mine as well...we won't be able to leave without a trace."
"We can try," Kylas growled lowly. Alo sighed, looking back to the door. He gazed up at the ceiling, which shrouded the two in darkness. He looked down and smiled.
"Alright," Alo said, "Let's give this a shot." Kylas grinned madly and lightly nudged Alo.
"We got this," Kylas said. He looked out the small opening and frowned. The sunlight that illuminated the room disappeared and only the smallest glimmer of moonlight breached through. Kylas kept his eyes glared at the opening. Alo frowned at his expression and turned as well to window.
"Night is falling," Alo said, "We should sleep. Prepare for our 'dangerous escape' tomorrow." Kylas nodded and went one corner of the chamber, where a small bed lay on the ground. Kylas crawled onto the bedding and looked up at the ceiling. On the other side, Alo laid on his side, back facing the young Kylas. He sighed and rustled into the bed, attempting to feel comfort. Kylas felt his eyes begin to get heavier and heavier. He blinked one time, but when he opened his eyes, the surroundings melted into a rainy, muddy landscape. Kylas sat up and looked around at his feet. He covered his mouth, keeping his screams inside. Around him were dozens of dead bodies laying in the mud. In the hands of each body was the hilt of a lightsaber. Kylas stood up and staggered backwards, breathing heavily as tears began to fall down his cheeks. He heard a scream behind him and was forcefully whipped around to see a young man standing with a red saber protruding out his chest. As the blade slipped out the body, it crumpled to the floor. Kylas gasped when he saw the person holding the saber. It was his mentor: Kylo Ren. Behind Ren were seven other figures with the same style of black, embroidered robes.
"You have done well, my pupil," a low voice growled in the distance. Kylas fell backwards onto the floor again, shutting his eyes. When he opened them again, the environment changed again to a small village that was burning. Stormtroopers were all over the village, grabbing the inhabitants and putting them in a clump behind an older man. In front of the man was Kylo Ren again with two other Stormtroopers behind him.
"The First Order rose from the Dark Side," the older man said to Kylo, "You did not." Kylo Ren walked over to the old man slowly.
"I'll show you," Kylo Ren said, his voice scratchy and robotic under the mask, "The Dark Side."
"You may try. But you cannot deny the truth that is your family," the old man muttered, taking a single step back. Kylas looked out in horror as Kylo Ren sighed.
"You're so right," Kylo Ren said as he ignited his crossguard lightsaber and cut down the older man. Kylas tried to scream, but no sounds could produce. Kylas fell to his knees, witnessing Stormtroopers slaughter an entire village. Tears couldn't stop flowing from his face as Kylo turned to his command shuttle.
This is what I was fighting for... Kylas thought, his whole body riddled with sweat. Just then, Kylas felt a drop on his nose. He touched his nose and looked down at his finger. It was a sight seen before: a drop of crimson blood trickled down his finger. Kylas felt another drop, and then another. He looked up as blood dropped from the sky. His caramel colored skin was now stained with splashes of crimson. He dropped to his knees again and looked up at the red and black sky.
"Kylas..." a voice called to the distance, "Kylas...!" Kylas blinked again, and saw Alo standing next to him. Kylas shot up and looked around, confused and slightly scared. He was back in the chamber, the light shining through the small hole in the wall. He shook his head and rubbed his face.
"Looks like you were seeing something you wish you hadn't," Alo said, raising his eyebrow.
"I'm fine..." Kylas snapped.
"I hope you are," Alo said, turning to the door, "Because we got work to do. We got an escape to execute, remember?"
