Craig swallowed nervously and leaned against the side of Tweek's locker, making sure to be in the paranoid teen's line of sight, his slender and pale fingers coming out to gently ghost across Tweek's shoulder in an attempt to rouse him from his digging through his locker.

The raven watched in slight amusement as Tweek jumped nearly ten feet in the air at the contact, screeching the whole while.

"Jeezus!" The blond cried loudly as his arms came up to defend himself in the universal fighting stance, dropping all of his books and papers in the process as he also squeezed his eyes shut.

"Chill out Tweek, it's just me." Craig stated this in his deep monotone voice, looking at his nails absentmindedly as Tweek gathered the papers and books he had dropped.

"I t-told y-you not t-ngh!-to do t-that C-Craig!" Tweek cried, looking at Craig with wide and fear induced tear watered eyes once he had gathered all of the objects that had been spilled onto the floor.

"I came up to the side of you, clearly in your line of sight, and tapped you on the shoulder." Craig stated with a smirk, watching as the other teen twitched rapidly.

"Y-Yeah b-but-"

"-You were focused," Craig finished, chuckling as Tweek squeaked in fear and paranoia.

"It's alright Tweek, I'm not working for the government or some assassin guild." The raven stated this with a lazy wave of his hand, dismissing Tweek's paranoia about everyone being out to get him, and a warm smile came across his features when he saw the twitchy teen slightly calm down.

Tweek situated his books and papers to sit in one arm before stuffing them unceremoniously into his messenger bag. The twitchy teenager then reached into his locker and rummaged around for a few minutes in an attempt to grab something, and it took Craig a few moments to realize that it was his ever beloved coffee thermos.

Once Tweek got a hand on it he held it close, eyeing Craig skeptically afterwards.

"W-Why argh! a-aren't y-you w-with C-Clyde and T-Token?" Tweek asked timidly, his shyness coming into play since the fear in his system had faded.

"I, uh..." Craig trailed off and rubbed the back of his neck, a bright blush covering his cheeks as he tried to think of something clever to say that would classify along the terms of a pick up line.

"I came here to ask you some questions," Craig finished his previous trail off hurriedly, shifting from foot to foot in embarrassment as the blush still dusted his pale cheeks.

"O-oh?" Tweek asked as he shut the door to his locker, locking and spinning the lock before looking at the raven to show his interest.

"Y-yeah," Craig stuttered out, his face going to an even brighter shade of red as he stuffed his hands into his pockets awkwardly.

"A-Ask a-away."

And that's when it donned on him that he knew exactly what to say.

"Have you ever fallen out of a tree?"

The question was simple, but it caught the other off guard, and Tweek stared at Craig in disbelief for a few moments before answering.

"Y-Yeah," he stuttered, his eyes still locked on the raven, "y-you argh! w-were t-there w-when it ngh! h-happened."

Craig mentally cursed himself for not remembering and then swallowed the fear that was beginning to rise within him. What if he asked another question and Tweek said the same thing? Would Tweek figure out the dare? But he couldn't fail now, he was so close to the finishing line!

And it was then that Craig noticed the awkward silence that had befallen them during his period of mental self abuse.

"H-how about a chair?" Craig tried to save himself from the awkwardness that was threatening to kill their conversation, and he mentally yelled in victory when that awkward air left.

"Y-Yeah," Tweek admitted quietly, looking off to the side with a light blush on his cheeks as his grip tightened on his thermos.

"Well," Craig began, gently placing his hand on the left side of Tweek's neck, curling his pale fingers into spiky blond hair, and smiling when the other seemed to instantly cease all of his constant twitching, "you wanna know what the best way to fall is?"

As Craig said this he found himself slowly moving closer to Tweek, and he was surprised when he saw Tweek leaning into him as well.

"W-What's t-the b-best w-way t-to f-fall?" Tweek countered in a whisper as he stared deeply into the taller's blue orbs, continuing to lean forward until their noses were nearly touching.

"In love with me." Craig finished the line, leaning forward further to close the gap between their lips.

"Shit!" Tweek cursed, jumping back in shock as his eyes went wide.

It was then that the blond began twitching rapidly and pulling at his clothes and hair, cursing loudly as he ran off in the opposite direction and then disappeared around a corner.

"Well fuck," Craig sighed, hanging his head in defeat, "way to go and screw it all up Tucker."

"You scared him and now he's gonna think you're some freak," Craig's heart dropped to his shoes as he growled this himself while turning around and storming off to his first hour class, home room, with his hands stuffed deeply in his pockets as his long legs carried him to the end of the hall quickly.

Craig entered home room shortly after, sitting down at his desk in an almost boneless manner as he thought about what had just happened.

"Hey man," the voice of Clyde rang out from beside Craig in worry and the brunette took his usual seet next to the raven, "we saw the whole thing with Tweek."

Oh, yeah. Craig had totally forgot that Clyde and Token had been watching the whole entire encounter.

"Are you alright?" The brunette asked, crossing his arms on his desk and looking to the other male.

"Just peachy," Craig sighed, flopping his head down on the desk just as the tardy bell to first hour rung.

As Craig sat there and thought about what had happened more it occurred to him: when Craig walked off he saw Tweek's thermos on the ground with coffee spilling out of it. Which meant that Tweek had more than likely been running to get some towels to clean it up, not away from him.

Which meant that he could have another chance!

Hope fluttered in Craig's chest at the idea and he felt himself become warm inside as he smiled.

'Tomorrow,' Craig thought determinedly with the smile still on his face, 'I'll try again tomorrow.'
