It was the last day of school in South Park High, and all of the kids were just bursting at the seams to be given back to freedom. Well, all except one boy. One boy who hadn't quite accomplished the goal he set for himself.
"Dude, stop being a pansy." Clyde grunted, stuffing a taco into his mouth as he sat down at the lunch table.
"Yeah man," Token agreed, elbowing the raven who sat beside him in the ribs before pointing to a certain twitchy blond haired figure, "he's in the lunch line now. Go get him."
"I don't know about this anymore guys," Craig sighed as he ran a hand over his face, "I've tried three times now and each one has failed."
"Dude," Token snorted, "Clyde's tried over sixty time and he still hasn't gotten anything. There is no way that you can fail as much as him."
"Yeah!" Clyde agreed, but he quickly frowned when his brain caught up with what the African had said, "hey that's not fair!"
"I guess you're right Token," Craig laughed as he poked at the meat in his taco with his fork, "alright."
The duo looked up from their food when they heard the sound of Craig's hands hitting the lunch table, and the raven was off walking towards the lunch line before they could say anything else.
Craig came up besides Tweek, making sure to be in the other's line of sight so he wouldn't flip out, and he wrapped an arm around the other teen's shoulders.
"H-hi C-Craig," Tweek said sheepishly, a bashful smile playing at his lips as he blushed lightly.
"Hey Tweek, I just wanted to let you know something before we go on summer vacation." Craig stated, pulling Tweek closer into what could almost be called a hug.
"O-oh?" The caffinated blond inquired, looking up at Craig as his face turned just the lightest shade of pink.
"I just wanted you to know that if I had a star for every time you brightened my day, I'd have a galaxy in my hand." Craig said this quietly, his lips upturned into a smile as he scratched the side of his neck in awkwardness while trying to act as if he wasn't dying on the inside due to the gushiness of it all.
"A-awww," Tweek cried, his face turning bright red as he hugged the taller, "t-that- argh!- w-was r-really s-sweet Craig."
"You think so?" Craig asked, looking down at the younger and hugging him back lightly.
"T-totally."
It was then that it happened, and Craig could of swore it was just a figment of his imagination.
Tweek held onto Craig tighter, raising himself up onto his tip toes... And kissed Craig on the cheek.
Craig turned twenty different shades of dark red as the blond teen smiled and then walked back into line.
The chullo wearing boy turned around to face his group of friends, a wide smile lighting up his face as he saw them high five each other and give him a thumbs up.
He wandered back over to his seat in an almost dream like manner, sliding into his seat with the happy and triumphant grin still on his face as he gave Clyde and Token both high fives.
"You got to stage one man!" Clyde celebrated, taking a swig out of his milk carton, "Now it only gets better from here!"
"I hope so," Craig sighed dreamily, his chin resting on his palm as he watched Tweek walk through the lunch line.
"I'm proud of you dude," Token stated, clapping Craig on the back.
"Hnn," Craig only merely hummed in acknowledgment, for he was too enwrapped in watching the blond as he shakily punched in his student ID at the end of the lunch line.
The lady seemed to be getting irritated, probably having to have restart the process four times already, and Craig frowned when he saw Tweek's brows furrow in concentration.
The raven stood then, walking over to Tweek and taking his hand gently.
It was then that Craig guided the younger's fingers across the buttons on the keypad, helping him press them without shaking and clicking five other numbers in the process.
"T-thank you C-Craig," the blond boy smiled, noting with a light blush that his hand was still in Craig's.
"Don't mention it Tweekers." Craig brought Tweek's hand up to his mouth then, kissing gently at the middle knuckle of the other's hand before smiling and retreating to his table.
He saw Tweek walk by then, a smile on his face and a bright blush dusting his cheeks.
"Way to go Romeo," Token laughed, "just when I thought you couldn't get anymore smooth."
"I do what I can," Craig laughed lightly, finally beginning to dig into his food as his eyes stayed on Tweek.
He couldn't deny anymore that he wasn't getting closer to his goal.
Maybe he could actually do this.
He might actually stand a chance.
And just the thought sent Craig into a wide smile that lit up his whole face.
Tweek actually liked him.
Oh, summer vacation was going to be great.
