I woke up this morning to the smell of a rose
Breakfast was set before me, placed on a tray so close
Tender lips pressed against mine, providing sensations I dared not oppose
Strong arms pulled me close, a gesture to which my heart froze
I woke up this morning to the song of a bird
Beautiful eyes pierced through to my soul but it didn't feel wierd
Lips parted, teeth shone, in a smile I could swear was the third
Hearts melted, emotions spiralled, my body yielded, and from afar, passionate explosions could be heard.
I woke up this morning to the sound of his voice
"Be mine forever," the words came through, melting my heart just like ice
A silver case opened, a precious stone glistened, and with those three words, I became his eternal choice
"Yes, I will," the response came swiftly, I'm sure you must have noticed I didn't need to think twice
