Chapter 2:

It's been 10 hours.

10 freezing, painful and fearful hours.

The train would stop every 2-3 hours or so to load more unfortunate humans into the cargo boxes like live stock. I guess that's what we are now though. The only reason they didn't wipe out our specie is to find mates, so the rest of us were less than dirt on the ground.

The train stops once again, but the sound of a cargo box extremely close to us sounds like it's being flung open. I give a nervous glance to Jamie and he gives me a look that tells me we have arrive.

A metallic boom followed by a unsettling scraping screech sets fear in my heart. Panic flows within my veins, yet I still stay incredibly still as the fear seeps to my core.

I haven't been this scared in a long time, my whole life has been so fearful that I thought I would have built up some sort of fear stamina, or at least become desensitized to the fear and violence that is my life. But, apparently not.

I'm such a weenie.

"Everyone up!" A deep burly voice boomed behind me. everyone on the cargo I was in, shot up quickly in our adrenaline stuck form. "Each of you out one by one, quickly!" A frail woman was stepping towards the exit first and was quickly clicked to another rusty chain and was almost thrown out of the door. All of us form a line at lightning speed, with me at the back and Jamie in front of me.

Honestly, I'm surprised I can stand with both my feet and legs being numb. Before I had time to mentally prepare myself to be dragged out into the unknown, I was being yanked forward and added as the final piece of the chain.

"Onward you lot, we don't have all day!" This Were seemed to have quite a collection of tattoos on his physique, I took a peek at his over muscled arm as he added me to the chain; the only thing I caught a glace of was the name 'Andrea' written in beautiful calligraphy. that must be his mate. Wait a second, this monster has called us any foul names yet, that's rare.

"Come on scum, faster!" He seethed at us.

Never mind.

A five minute walk that also felt like an eternity has led us to rows and rows of transporting trucks. Great, I'm just getting back the feeling in my legs for  only to become numb again on the trucks floor. We are being led to the furthest truck on the loading bay that's been painted the ugliest green colour. I'm dreading going on that truck, but the feeling of snow stop freezing my toes off would be a good feeling. We were once again loaded onto the vehicle at record  speed and once again a quivering mess on the floor.

While the door slams shut, I feel Jamie cuddle up to me, usually he would put his arms around me, but obviously he can't; because  the hand cuffs are still painfully clamped and cutting our wrists.

I'm so sick of this, I'm so tired. These days I barely have energy to walk and talk, yet I force myself to keep going out of fear. I hate my life. I hate this world.

I hate Werewolves.

I'm jolted forward harshly from my sleep as the truck makes a sudden stop. The warm vibrations of the engine is suddenly cut and for the millionth time this day, fear creeps into me again at an alarming rate. Metal doors flying open, give the yet another jump scare, reveal the same Were from earlier.

"Everyone out, same speed as last time, or we will have a problem." He yells. We jump out breaking our previous record for speed. Once again, our chain is being pulled and I start walking, feeling the harshness of this cold and seeing my breath in front of me. We walk for about a minute, until we reach a group of Weres.
