Through the years, Bucky and Natasha taught Lily how to fight and defend herself. They didn't want her to be completely defenseless. Natasha also taught her how to shoot various guns once she turned thirteen.

When she was sixteen, she went on her first mission. She, Natasha and Steve ambushed a boat that had been hijacked. They fought their way through until they cornered the captain.

On the way back, their helicopter was shot at, and it ended up crashing in a forest. Lily and Natasha had minor wounds, but Steve was badly injured.

"Natasha, what's going on?" Fury asked over the communicators.

"We got shot at. Steve's hurt."

"We're sending a team down."

The two ladies carried Steve out of the helicopter and leaned him against a nearby tree. Lily placed her hands on his wounds.
"Keep an eye out."

"On it." Natasha had two guns raised, ready to strike.

After Steve's wounds were healed, he passed out. Lily sat back a relaxed for a moment, until she heard something peculiar.

"Stay with Steve." She said. The other woman nodded.

The young girl took one of her guns out and cocked it, walking a bit aways from the other two. She listened carefully. It was to her right. She quickly raised her gun in that direction.

"Who's there? Come out."

Two people came from behind the bushes. He wore a biker's jacket and jeans. He had brown hair and dark eyes. She, on the other hand, wore a skin tight suit, not unlike Natasha's. She had dark hair with a white streak. She was much younger than him. Her dark eyes looked from the man to her. They both raised their hands.

"We don't want a fight." He said. "We saw you crash. Didn't think anyone made it."

"We're fine. What did you say your name was?"

"We didn't." The girl snapped. Lily's guns pointed at her.

"Hey, now. Let's all calm down." The man said.

"I'm Rogue. And I get a little impatient around people who have guns pointed at me."

"Well, I get impatient with people I don't know trying to sneak up on me." That shut her up for a moment.

"I'm Logan. I promise you we were just trying to help." The man said.

"Well, we don't need any. Thanks."

"Lily!" Natasha yelled, coming forward with her own guns raised. "You good?"

"Yeah, I got it covered. These two were just leaving, weren't you?" She looked at the two outsiders.

"Wait...did you say your name was Lily?" The man asked. He had tears in his eyes.

"Yeah...why?" She asked, confused.

"Oh shit." Natasha breathed.

"What? What is it? Natasha, you know this guy?"

"Lily..." The man was crying now. He stepped forward. "Is that really you?"
"Tell me who you are!"

"It's your dad.."

She faltered.

"D-Daddy?" She thought she had recognized him from somewhere.

"Yes, little flower."

In that moment she knew it was true. She recognized that voice calling her a little flower.

"But... They said you died..." Her voice cracked. Then she got pissed. "I swear to God, I'm gonna kill Tony."

She put her gun away and walked to her father, hugging him.

"I've missed you so much."

"I've missed you, too, Dad."

They had both started to cry.

"Hey, sorry to be the killer of this wonderful moment. But we gotta go." Natasha said uneasily. "The helicopter is coming soon and Steve's still over there."

Lily let go of her father. She turned to follow the other woman, but stopped halfway in between.

"Come with us."

Logan smiled but shook his head. "Fury doesn't really like us all that much. Bring us on board and there's sure to be war." He walked closer to his daughter. It had been so long since he had seen her. She had grown up so much. He kissed her head. "I'm always here if you need me."

She nodded, then sprinted off with Natasha.

"She looks just like you, Logan."

"I know.... That's what scares me the most."
