The Reason Why

A/N This is another poem by my BFF.

You are the reason why I smile
Why I go to school even if I'm fragile.
You made me laugh when I'm 'bout to cry
I want to thank you but I'm too shy.

Everytime we fought over nonsense things
You stare at me, and I felt something.
I remember you laughing at the things I told
I suddenly feel my hands turn cold.

Then I figured out what I felt for you
I fell in love with all that you do.
I decided to tell you what I feel
But we're friends, so I considered it unreal.

I helped you at the things you don't know
Even if I'm tired I'd still do it for you.
Then my bestfriend approached me
Told me to stop 'cause I'm the epitome of stupidity.

One day I saw you whispering to a friend
I accidentally heard it, and I stiffened.
I was offended by what you said
I never thought you could make me sad.

Then I realized to stop this craziness
I will let go and leave this madness.
I hated you for what you did
But...I forgave you 'cause you're my friend.

I'm still asking why
The person who completed my smile made me cry.
The person who is the reason for my happiness
Broke my heart into tiny little pieces.

I decided to let go and walk away
Because there's no reason for me to stay.
Staying with you is like stabbing my heart
Because everytime I see you, I'm broken apart.
