Rylyn's Perspective
I sat back on the infirmary bed. It was getting late and everyone was in their cabins. Everyone has somewhere to be. I curled into a ball in the corner and replayed all the events in my head. Right before I left for the pool I had an argument with my mom. She told me she hated me and I ruined her life. Well I'm out of her life now. She must be very happy. I have lost everything, my mom,my stepfather, all my life I once knew is now gone. I crawled into bed and fell asleep, tears staining my eyes. When I woke Chiron stood by me.
"Get dressed and come with me." he walked out. I quickly got dressed and met the crippled man outside. But when I came out,
"YOU'RE A HORSE?!"
Chiron smiled, "A centaur, dear, to be polite." He brought me to all the cabins I meet just about every camper maybe some twice but I just smiled and went with the flow. Chiron looked at me, "Anywhere seem special?"
I shrugged.
"Well, we'll put you in the Hermes cabin for now, until we get you determined." He said softly.
Before I could question him about what the hell that meant, Conor ran up to us. "Chiron, the lake, now."
The three of us ran to the lake. The centaur a lot faster than us. Campers ran up to Chiron, "A camper is stuck underwater!" one said.
"Percy and Tyson are no where to be found!" another shouted.
I looked at Conor, "Percy?Tyson?" "Who is it?" Chiron asked.
Conor looked at me, "My sister, Annie" his eyes teared. I ran with no thought in my mind. I heard screams from half the campers as I dove into the deep water. The water wasn't dark though - in fact I saw so much life under the water. Was this just apart of the Greek culture; clear waters? I spotted Annie unconscious. Was I too late?
