Zoeys POV;

Gripping the edge of the love seat couch tightly. I stared at the front door waiting for it to open.

Mom and dad excused themselves a while ago to clean my old bedroom.

My head snapped forward when the front door opened.

“Mom! Dad! I’m home” A deep voice  came from the front door. My other hand that was gripping the glass cup lightly cracked.

Setting it down I noticed that he wasn’t alone.

I could hear two steps of feet walking towards me.

Mom came down the stairs grinning.

“Adrian, Jamie I have a surprise for you” she said hiding me from their view.

“Mom please, Not in front of  Nate” the deep voice groaned.

“Awe poor, little Ian” a husky voice said. “It’s okay Mrs. Carter what did you buy him this time?” He said chuckling.

“ Dora boxers?,” he suggested

“ Shut up Nate” the deep voice whined.

“Boys, quiet your mom has a surprise, actually we all had a surprise” Dad came down the stairs looking peacefully grabbing mom and showing them who was behind her.

There was a gasp from the boy with light brown hair.

“Mom! You found me a girl?!?” he said gaping.

“You have good taste Mrs. Carter,” the husky voice praised.

Deciding that it was my turn to make myself known.

“ I hope so,” I said smirking “Our parents did give me these genes.” I said emphasizing ‘Our’

I couldn’t help but let out a laugh at their faces only to end up gasping for breath from their tight hugs.

“Zoey??!” Arms circled around me making me gasp for air.

Looking at a pair of blue eyes who I remembered was Nate.

I gave him a small smile while gasp the word ‘help.’

When Ian finally let go of me Nates arms circled me even tighter make me gasp for air.

“Zoey,” he said gripping me  tightly.

“Bro, please help.” Ian quickly grabbed his best friend and set me down in the couch.

“You are never ever allowed to leave this city again,” Ian said in overprotective brother mode.

My parent watched us amused.

Grabbing the cup full of water that was still slightly cracked I started drinking.

“She will be staying, took a lot of convincing but she’s staying until she turns 90 to move out” Dad said in an over  protective voice.

Choking on my water I set it down.

Glancing at their faces I sign.

This is going to be a long day the  minute their question bombarded me.

Nates eyes continued to bore hole on my back the whole time.
