           Marley!

                                          Chapter 2; 'No. Just no.'

I've tried so many bikinis I think I could die.

"C'mon! One more Marley?" Zaridah complains.

I sigh and slip on the one she through over the stall door. It was neon turquoise and it clasps in the back and ties at the nape of my neck. It actually looks quite good on me considering my uncurved body and chubby thies.

"Alright. You done, Marley? C'mon out" I hear Zaridah. I step out of the stall and face Zaridah and Maddy. "WOW! Mare, I really like this one!" Maddy says.

"Girl, your curves look amazing! Boys will be all over you!" Zaridah squeals. oh jeez. "I am amazing aren't I? Ya?" She high fives Maddy and i snigger. "Your getting that one. And don't worry I'll pay." She also hands me some white sandals, white shorts and a matching turquoise tank top all in my size to cover up. She rips the tags off and scans them.

I hastely shake my head feeling guilty that she even offered.

"Don't worry about it. My mother owns the store. I'm sure she'll be fine with it." She insists.

I look down and nod. I'm not one to give up free clothes.

"Thank you so much Zaridah. We had fun." Maddy says

"No problem and me too. Will I be seeing you?"

"Definitely! Bye"

"Bye!"

I wave before walking out of the store with my old winter clothes in a plastic sack.

We reach the beach and pay for parking. I grab the planket and bag for our towels while maddy grabs the umbrella and her bucket of sand toys. We head down to the beach and set up a little area for us.

"I'm ganna make a sand castle, care to join, Mare?" Maddy says.

I shake my head no.

"Well in the mean time you should probably get a tan people keep looking at you like you're an alien or something."

I glare and lay down on the blanket. I listen to the waves and smell the ocean breeze. I'm not used to this kind of thing but it's all so relaxing. I'm pretty sure I fall asleep. All my senses are turned off like someone hit a switch. All the sudden I feel something hit me directly in my face. Ok, OW! I sit up and look around and to who hit me with a volleyball.

A boy comes running up to me with only swim trunks..... oh lord Jesus, I could die.

"I am so sorry fo- Wait... I know you?" I recognized that voice. I look up from staring at his abs and am mortified beyond belief to find that it's Junior. My cheeks begin to heat. as I tuck my chin to my chest.

"You're the girl on the bus that wouldn't say your name." He continues. I slightly nod.

"Who are you?" I hear maddy's voice from behind me. I move to the side to look at her.

"I'm Junior and you are?"

"Madelyn. Do you know him Marley?" She looks at me. I mentally face palmed from hearing the use of my name.

"Ah. Marley," Junior says, "Nice name."

I nod.

"Cat got your tongue," Junior teases.
