Chapter 1

It was Thursday. Walking home from school could be boring, but I was with my friend Sarah. Sarah Decapo was a friend of mine since elementary. She walks with me everytime we went home.
"Did you copy the items we need for our project, Zack?"She asked.

By the way, my name is Zack Calingaro,I'm 19 years old.I was raised Manila by my mother Jenna Calingaro.

"Yeah, it's all in my notebook." I said,"So are you going this saturday?"
"Of course! It's your birthday and your Mom told me to come." She said, "Where's the venue?"
"At a bar close to school named Cassa Bar.If you want to come, the time of the party will start at 9:00pm." I said.
"Are you going to bring your girlfriend?" Sarah teased.
"Of course not! I told you I promise myself not to have a relationship!" I said.
"Suit yourself!" Sarah replied.
As we walk, we bought food from the store and I brought Sarah to her house.
"Well, this is where I stop." She said,"I'll try to go to the party,I'm busy this weekend for the festival so I'm not sure if I could come. But I'll try!"
She waved me goodbye and I waved back. I was going to go home until,
"Shit! I left my notebook at school!" I said," all the items we need are all there!"
I ran to school as fast as I can and while I was running inside the hallway, I heard a girl crying.
"What did I do to you?" The girl cried.
"You messed up my hair you dimwit!" Another girl replied.
I could hear girls laughing and teasing the crying girl.
"Hey!" I shouted,"What are you doing to her!" As I walk to them, they all ran back.
"Your lucky,bitch!" The girl who shouted at the crying girl,"Your boyfriend is here to save you!"
"I'm not her boyfriend,but you are doing bad things to her and I can't stand it when I see people getting bullied." I said,"Now go away!Or I'll tell the principal about this incident!"
   The girls started to walk away but at the end of the hall,the girl turned back and said"You are making a big mistake! I am Tris Pañaro you idiot!" And she walked away....
     
        Oh no! Tris Pañaro is the richest girl in our school. She joins the cheerleading team and the student council. I'm dead.

      I looked at the crying girl and held my hand,
"Are you alright?"I said,"Do you need help??"
"I'm alright, thank you." The girl said while standing up,"I am Kylie Celestia." 
"I'm Zack, Zack Calingaro. Nice to meet you." I greeted and I asked,"Why did they bully you? Did you get hurt?"
"I was walking in the hallway and they started to tease me, so I tried to walk away and then one of her friends pushed me and I ruined the hair of Tris" She said while crying," She slapped me in the face and started to shout at me, calling me an idiot."
   "Do you want me to go with you?" I asked.
"No it's fine. Your the first person who helped me. So I'm grateful for that." She said as she started to walk away,"I'm glad I met you Zack Calingaro."
  She started to walk away from the hallway.
