"Mark, you're shaking."

Mark's eyes darted at his brother, watching as Tom combed a hand through his hair.

"I-I am?" Mark asked, fiddling with his tie. Mark held his hands up and noticed that they were practically vibrating.

"Yeah, you are." Bob chimed in, standing up from his chair and standing beside Tom. "You need to relax, dude. It's just your wedding day."

"It's just my wedding day?" Mark said, looking at Bob with wide eyes. "This is the day where I pledge to be with someone the rest of my life. That's a really long time, Bob!"

"Yeah, sure, but, you also love that person. And you love that person enough to know you want to spend the rest of your life with them." Bob explained.

"Just relax, little brother." Tom said, wrapping an arm around Mark's shoulder. "If Jack didn't love you, he wouldn't be doing this either."

-----

"Jack! Hold still!"

Jack was bouncing on the balls of his feet from excitement. His oldest sister, Aveline, was standing in front of him, attempting to tie his lime green tie. Jack finally stood still, allowing his sibling to tie the knot and tuck the fabric in his buttoned-up blazer.

"You look amazing, dude." Felix said, slinging an arm around Jack's shoulder.

"I'm just excited!" Jack said, starting to bounce again. "I'm gonna get to spend the rest of my life with Mark! He's gonna' be my special someone that I've always waited for..."

"And now I see why you're the wife of your relationship." Aveline said, laughing after. Jack smiled and flicked her ear, brushing Felix's arm off of him.

"Can I go see him or something?" Jack asked, biting the inside of his cheek.

"Are you crazy?!" Aveline exclaimed, her eyes wide. Jack noticed how her purple bridesmaid dress swayed at her knees. "You can't see your fiancé on your wedding day! It's bad luck, Jack!"

"I'm not superstitious." Jack said, shrugging. He walked to the door and it opened, Mark's mother poking her head in the door.

"Three minutes!" she chirped, grabbing Jack's arm. "You might as well get out here. Mark is already in the chapel."

So, she dragged Jack down to the church doors, handing him a bouquet of flowers. Jack's mother stepped by him-Jack's father was escorting Mark's mom-as Aveline lined up with Tom in front of them. Everyone hooked arms and the chapel doors opened, causing all the couples to walk into the sanctuary. Jack could just catch a glimpse of Mark from behind Tom.

The traditional song started playing and Jack took a step, his mother walking next to him.

It was time.
