Te amo y nunca te dejaré ir

It was the spring ball, he wasn't with Lia. He was sitting alone as though he was alone, I sat by him and smiled. He turned to his side to speak but he just gave away his gentle smile. He was still the same Xey i knew so i knew he wouldn't start talking so i began, "I missed you Xey!". He looked at me with his dreamy eyes to say, 'I missed you more than i thought i would."  And just like always i was laughing, We sat next to each other lost in each others speech. We regained that old friendship of ours and i didn't want to let go so i stopped and wondered if it was right for me to let my feelings out. The spring ball was over and still sat there, just the two of us in the gym. He got down on his knees.

"Would you dance with me?"

My best friend asked me to dance with him after the entire thing was over? How cute. 

"Yes sir." 

How chessy of me? 

So there we were in the middle of the gym dancing with no one around and most of all no music. We did the swirl and the things people do when they dance and we bursted out laughing. Later that night i was in this arms dancing close with his chin over my head and his arms around my waist. I couldn't tell what it was but i let out a tear of wanting a wish for Xey and I to be together and he kissed my forehead just like he said he would when he'd meet the girl he loved and whispered, "I Love you Zoeypooh" Was i dreaming? I probably was but then i came out of his arms to his blue ocean eyes, so dreamy yet so calm and his eyebrows desperate for an answer. i couldn't click out of it but then he made.

"Zo?" He said with a low voice.

"I love you too Xey!" i said thinking he wasn't serious.

With his chaped lips put together he said, "No Zo, I actually mean it. Te amo y nunca te dejaré ir."

My mouth popped open, looking shocked and just stuck in the moment.

"I'm sorry Zoe! I just had to tell you. Its been in me since 7th grade."

Wait? What? I didn't know that. I liked him ever since camp and he liked me before that? I couldn't believe  what i was hearing. i was just stunned and there was nothing i possibly could do.

"Zo! Talk to me."

"Y-You actually meant what you said?"

i was hopping he'd say, "You just got pranked! Got you." But i was wrong.

"Yes!" he said with his embarassed face.
