I feel my face heat up a little as I quickly bow and stutter, "Y-Yes! Of course!" I quickly leave and lean against the closed door, closing my eyes and letting out a small sigh. Baka, (y/n), Baka. I open my eyes slowly only to see the end of a gun, pointed at me. My eyes widen as I look from the barrel of the gun to the man holding it. He was blond with stubble on his chin, he has a lit cigarette in his clinched teeth.

"Who the fuck are you?!" He yells loading the gun and pulling the trigger a little, but not enough to actually shoot it.

"I said: Who. The. Fuck. Are. You?!" The man clutched his teeth harder, causing the cigarette to almost fall out of his mouth.

I open my mouth to say something, but I was to jittering to muster out a word. When I finally got something out, it was a small sqeak and I fell to my knees.

"Bard? What are you doing over here? We have to get prepared for the- Bard?" A higher pitched voice said, it sounded as if it was farther down the hall but I was looking down at my lap, so I was unable to see the supposed man the voice belonged to. "Who is this girl?"

"I don't know. She just came out of Young Master's study and she isn't speaking a damn word!" Bard, the boy called him, rearranged the gun so it was pointing at me once again while I was on my knees, getting ready to shoot if I continue to be silent.

This brought a smirk to my face. "Go ahead." I say, still not looking up at them.

Bard loosens his grip a little but it soon appears again, tighter. "What?"

I look up at them and tilt my head to the side, the smirk still glued to my face. "Go ahead. Shoot me. See what happens."

Bard had hesitation in his eyes. Great timing. With that sense of hesitation I was able to swipe his feet causing him to go crashing down to the floor. Everything happened so fast the other boy wasn't able to know what was happening in time.

Bard held his head and groaned with his gun laying next to him, while the other stared at me in shock. I stood up and dusted off my gloves. I was finally able to get a good look at the other boy. He has golden hair with red bobby pins in it to hold it back and out of his face, a hat around his neck and laying gently on his upper back, bright emerald eyes that seemed to have a distinct sparkle in them, he was also wearing gloves of some sort, a gardener maybe? I wonder if he tended the roses that were outside...

"Lady (y/n), you can come-" The butler had opened the door to invite me back in, but instead he saw a boy in shock, a man on the ground holding his head, and a young lady standing there innocently and unharmed, she also had an expression that looked as if she was confused. "I don't even know how to comprehend this..." Sebastian mutters under his breath, "Finnian!"

The young boy stands up straight and puts his index finger to his eyebrow, saluting, as if he was a soldier about to go I to war.

"I want you to take Bardroy back to his quarters and allow him to rest for now." Sebastian finishes and the boy, Finnian, quickly grabs Bard as if he weighed nothing and ran down the hall, toward the stairwell.

Sebastian sighs loudly before running his fingers through his dark hair, slowly, he turns to me. "(Y/n)? Do you know what had happened out here?"

I bite my lip nervously, "Um... Y-Yes." I studdered, avoiding his piercing crimson eyes.

"And would you do me the pleasure if telling me?"

I started to rub the back of my neck, "Well, when I came out here Bard pointed a gun at me and threatened to shoot, so I just protected myself." It was true I just.... Didn't really tell him the part of actually hurting him.

The butler rubs the outer corners of his eyes then nods, understanding. "Needless, come on back in, the Young Master wants to speak to you." He turns around and holds the door for me once again.

Stepping in, I look at the floor, awkwardly shifting my weight back and forth.

"(Y/n) (l/n)?" He asks to get my attention?

"Y-Yes?!" I say a little too quickly, looking up at him.

"I will allow you to live here on some conditions." I nod, ushering him to continue. "The first one is that you will be working as my servant, along side with Sebastian, Bardroy, Mei-Rin, and Finnian. The other condition is that I'm going to ask you some questions that you must answer and must only say the truth. Understood?" I nod slowly, think about what kind of questions he may ask me. "Alright. Were you the one that killed the man on the street a week or so ago?"

I bite my lip recalling the memory of him laying on the ground, screaming in agony. "Yes, but it was on accident! I didn't mean to hurt that man!"

Ciel tilted his head, confused, but didn't ask. "How did you kill him?"

I look down at my gloves then back at Ciel, "There is some kind of.... Poison that runs through my veins that causes everything I touch to dissolve." I slowly reach behind my back and unbutton my dress, allowing it to fall a little off my shoulders to show the top of my chest but nothing inappropriate. But instead of clear skin on my chest, I had a glowing (f/c) gem inbreaded into it. The gem looked like a carved rose and had small pieces scattered randomly across my chest, the same color and gave the same strange glow. "I believe that this is the cause of the poison, but when I try to get it out of even touch the gem, it sends a sharp pain to my chest, as if I was playing with my own heart." When I looked up from my chest I see Ciel blushing with a nose bleed as he looks away while Sebastian was studying the gem as if he was curious about i Noticing that I was making Ciel uncomfortable, I buttoned up my shirt.

Ciel coughs awkwardly into his arm, "A-Anyways.... Who are your parents?" He asks me, trying hard to look me in the eyes without blushing scarlet.

My eyes widen and I look down, "W-Well, actually, I'm not sure of who my parents are... I mean! I lost my memories a year ago... I don't remember anything about my past."

Ciel's head tilts slightly and his small blush disappears as he becomes curious about my future. Even though he wants to ask other questions about my memory loss, he decided to drop it. Ciel stands up and walks around his desk and towards me. "(Y/n). Welcome to the Phantomhive Manor. You shall be working next to Sebastian and make sure that the other servants get their job done quickly and with high quality. You will also be working to protect this manor and me at any cost."

I quickly nod, I need a place to stay and getting a job with it! Its like hitting two birds with one stone! Ciel soon nods as well and looks at Sebastian. Him, knowing what to do, walks up next to me and places his hand on my shoulder. I look up at him, straight into his ruby eyes, and I felt a small tug in my chest.

"Lady (y/n), let me show you around the manor then to the room you will be sharing with your brother." He says also looking at me.

Slowly I nod as he takes my hand and leads me out of the room, as we were walking down the hall and he was telling me what each room was, I soon blocked out his voice and went deep into thought about the feeling I felt earlier.

What was that feeling? It was like someone tugged my heart a little, Maybe its all in my head... Yeah, that's it. I can't be in love. A monster, like me, can't be able to love someone else...
