Chapter 7

Previously on Lost and Found
"Don't worry you won't get chosen. The capitol doesn't know you."

"Katniss Everdeen."

Katniss somehow manages to walk her way up to where Effie's standing without breaking down. She can see Peeta's on the verge of tears. Prim's relieved but is breaking down. Taylor is hiding her feelings, comforting Prim.

"Now for the relative."

Effie dips her hand into the bowl. She swirls it around and picks one out.

"Clint Barton; Half Brother."
.......

This time on Lost and Found...

Clint POV

"Clint Barton. Half Brother."

I hear my name and I am dumbfounded. How I was chosen I have no idea, but how did the capitol know I was related to her? Only Katniss, Prim, Taylor, Haymitch and Ga.. Oh.. F*ck. F*cking Gale. Revenge on our little encounter. F*ck him! Bloody hell! I start to tear up a little, still unable to move. It not until Effie calls on me again that I'm cast away from this ominous spell and walk to where Katniss is.. was standing. Was standing?!?

I quickly look for her when I realise she fainted. I run up to help her. Peeta insists that he helps, but I restrain him, telling him that he'll only get dragged into the arena. His face goes pale and reluctantly stays put.

I go to help Katniss; where Effie's leaning over her trying to help her up.

"Here I'll do it." I slowly hoist her from the stage to the back doors where we say our final goodbyes. I lay her down on the bed in the room just as everyone else barges in the room, even Gale. That c*nt.

Peeta's POV

I make my way to the farewell room, not waiting for the others.
I barge into the room to see Clint next to Katniss who's lying on the bed peaceful.

"Thank you Clint! I'm so sorry about what happened. I have no idea how your name made it into that absurd bowl."

"Peeta. I already know how."

"What? How? "

" Because of this little dirty f*cked up c*nt, Gale." I spit his name out so viciously.

Everyone is shocked. But they don't say a word. They know that they don't have enough time for all the fuss.

Everyone says their goodbyes even Gale. I don't even respond to him.

"Leave." I command.

"No"

"Come on Gale, LET'S F#CKING GET BACK HOME SO THAT I CAN WHIP YOUR SORRY ASS!" Peeta yells.

With that peacekeepers storm the room and drag Gale and Peeta out of my sight. "Bye" I managed to say. I'm about to go and close the door when Katniss regains conciousness.

"Hhhhh!" Katniss cries. *coughs*

"hey"

"hey. Where did everyone go? "

" Here. " I hand her a drachma; a gift from and old friend Percy Jackson. (AN: Follow always_bookish And read Percy Jackson and the avengers. It's amazing!)

You see that drink tap over there, it'll connect you to our.. Your family. Quick we don't have much time.

We hurry over to the tap. Thank God it's the vertical spraying one. I ask Katniss to hold the tap down while I "call" them.

"Here we go." I gold the Golden Drachma near the water. "Oh Isis please accept this offering."

The water magically turns rainbowish." Let go Katniss."

She let's go and is surprised by the 'magic'.

"Peeta Mellark" I call.

The shimmering water changes to a scene of Peeta crying next to Taylor in Katniss' home. Prim then sees me. "Clint!"

They all glanced in my direction. "Katniss wanted to say goodbye."

I let her into the scene. She talks for a while, cries a bit until I hear footsteps. "We gotta go now."

"Bye" Katniss calls.

I swipe away the call and return to the bed just in time for our escort.

A peacekeeper comes in and directs us to the train where Effie and Haymitch are waiting for us.

"What are you doing here?" Katniss asks Haymitch.

"Can't I come and support my two sweethearts?"

"You can but they need you."

"But they have Peeta and Gale. "

Katniss POV

No. I cannot believe it. My childhood friend, had betrayed me. Why Gale, why? I was in shock and crying when prim told me what had actually happened.

" He made sure Clint's name was in the bowl. But not once but several times! Talk about odds being in his favour."
Uh. Gale disgusts me now. His betrayal has extinguished our relationship as friends and as of now enemies.

I tell Haymitch that I FORBID Gale to help my family including Peeta and stamp my way onto the luxurious train.
