Fun fact: lullabies were originally called Lilith-byes and were sung over babies in cribs to prevent Lilith from crawling up from hell and taking the child away in the night.....

IK this isn't a random thought but I wanted to post this anyway <3

If you don't know who Lilith is basically she was banished from the garden of Eden and God took her right to have children away and sent her to hell (I can't remember why) so she made a deal with the devil that allowed her to come to earth and take away people's new born babies and bring them back to hell with her.
