Random thoughts at 3am

There is no way in hell that Earth was put at the perfect distance from the sun, not too close to not burn everything to smithereens and not too far away that everything freezes and nothing can survive, by "chance" I refuse to believe that it was a random event that happened (and before you ask, no I don't believe in God. But there must be some reason behind Earth being placed so specifically right?)
