Chapter 3

Sofia's POV:
I'm in the prom room, unpacking the boxes for the new decorations with some other people I'm waiting for Cameron I'm unpacking I hear my phone beep , I open it and saw the message, it was from Nathan It said that " hi love I'm really sorry about the destruction of the prom decorations " I reply with confusion "how'd you know and P.s stop faking the British accent He then messages me "I've got ways oh and Come on it's not that bad" I then reply "Guess what I have to do everything again with only four more people so I have to go bye" "bye;)" I decided to start with the decorations because the rest of the people weren't doing anything I think they were also here cause they got this instead of detention "ummm...guys you all can go I can do this myself" without any protests all three Rushed out dropping a decoration in the process the glass hitting the floor made me flinch I picked up all the fallen pieces and decided to start with the hangings I took out the stars and dusted them off with a cloth. When I was done dusting the dirt off, I then decided to start to hang them. As soon as I was about to hang the first one, the door swung open and I tried not to look cause I knew it was Cameron, all of a sudden there was a hand on my shoulder " uh?,so am I working with u?..eh?!..what's ur name?." I turned around and found myself breathing into Cameron's chest again. " yea u eventually are! And my name is Sofia.. Sofia Johnson." He smiled and told me that my name was beautiful , I backed away. "So why were you late .. Like a total 30 mins ". "I'm sorry I won't let that happen again". I told him that it's ok!.we started by hanging the star lights all over the whole ceiling .

Cameron's POV:
She was just dazzling while I looked at her put the star lights on, I feel bad that she had to wait so long. But what can i do. Anyways i took my shirt off and started to pick up the heavy boxes of cloth and lights . As I was picking up one box and shifting it into the corner I could feel her looking at me , I ignore but a smirk never left my face. While I was passing past the ladder. It started shaking and she fell off right into my arms and this time she thanked me as I could see her blushing a bit she pulled away she apologized

Sofia's POV:

~one hour later~

It's been a whole hour we've done quite a lot but still many things are to be done

"You can go now we'll do the rest later I'll get some people to help by tomorrow" I tell Cameron

"Yea sure I'll call some of my friends tomorrow as well it would be much better" he says putting his shirt back on we exit the prom hall

We both had Chemistry next as I made a left turn to chemistry Cameron turned right

"Umm..excuse me chemistry is that way" I shouted behind him

"Who said I'm going to chemistry" he answered back with a smirk

"What? So your bunking"

"Ding ding ding we have a winner now bye" he waved and rushed out

I just made my way to chemistry

Today was a long day we've got a lot of homework I'm happy today was Friday my shift at work is late on Fridays which means I can complete my homework and chores

I make my way to the hell I call home "I'm home" I shout "shut the fu*k up who cares if your home" Stacy my step sister shouts

Totally expected I make my way to the kitchen to get something to eat I'll just grab a small snack or something cereal perhaps I pour milk and cereal in a bowl and am about to take the first bite when the substance is poured in my face

Laughter can be heard I look up to see Richard (Step brother) "What the fu*k was that for" I shout

"For being born" he retorts "In fact I think you deserve more" he finishes as he make his way to the fridge what! What's he gonna do and before I'm about to make another move something hard and sticky come in contact with my face

Egg!!!! My hair that's it I make my way to max and slap him hard on the face you could see my handprint on his face

I could feel anger boiling up on his face oh no "Big mistake" he mumbles "just let mom get home" and with Tate he walks out of the kitchen

Did I forget to mention my step mother abuses me I can't do anything about it cause I'll have no where to go

My story is similar to Cinderella's except just replace a sister with a brother and I haven't found my Prince Charming and I'm quite sure I never will

I do my chores and homework and then make my way to work today we had a lot of people at the diner probably because it's Friday

"Ok bye Jane" I shout as I grab my coat Janes the owner of this diner she knows about my life and she tries her best to help me

She's the only reason I still have hope

I make my way outside its cold outside I walk home as I rub my arms hoping to get heat radiation

I ten minutes away when suddenly I feel an arm being places on my shoulder without checking who it is I scream really loud a hand is placed on my mouth "Shh...its just me" the familiar voice speaks

"Who are you??" I ask still not able to realize who it is "Cameron" he stated as if it's the most obvious thing

"Oh" is all that I manage to say "so umm mind telling me what your doing here" I pause to check my watch "In the middle of the night"

"I was just walking around what are you doing here it's not safe outside at a time like this what if this wasn't me" he frowns

"Why do you care" I fold my arms over my chest I don't get a response but I swear I hear him say "Cause I do" but I just shrug it off

"Anyways I have to go" I tell him and stet to walk away "Where" he shouts. Seriously. "Home Dumbass" I shout back and make my way

I stand in front the door should I go inside I am pretty I think of climbing the widow but decide against it I slowly open the door and make my way inside

"Why the fu*k are you late" I hear someone shout behind me as I close the door I turn around to find my step mother

"I'm sorry mom- but I'm cut off with a slap "what did I tell you to call me" she spits in my mouth "I'm sorry Maria I had a late shift" I say again rubbing my cheek in the process

"I don't care if you had a late shift you know the timing and Richard told me about what happened in the morning how dare you slap him" she says slapping me two times

"You deserve to die I don't even know why your alive" she says punching me hard in the stomach I fell down on the ground with a scream

She forced her hand on my mouth "what did I tell you about screaming" she says kicking me then she grabs my head and smashes it against the wall and that's when everything turned black
