Nightmare Hunters

The Nightmare

I wake up sweating and afraid,

What the hell just happened  I muttered.

Was it all just a nightmare it couldn't have be just a NIGHTMARE it all felt so real.

I get out of bed to get a glass of water than suddenly I hear the door "KNOCK KNOCK"
a loud knock entered the house as I reach the the cold metal doorknob with out hesitation.

I remembered it was around 2 in the morning  who would visit me at this time I thought to myself.

I know about the dream. The person outside said.

I open the door with much surprise I see a girl around her early twenties. Wearing a black hoodie as she took of her hood I saw her long brunette hair and her beautiful pastel brown eyes.

Come with me Zayn Conner with a serious tone,

if she didn't look like that I might of
shut the door on the spot.

But with a manly voice I uttered.

Why should I, and how did you even know about the dream

She replies looking annoyed.

If you don't want to know about your dream then don't go. I couldn't care less if you died.

If I DIE?? Alright,I'll go but tell me your name first.

I said with much angst

What a cool name I said to myself.

Just wait first let me change my clothes.

There's not enough time
She said

She grabs my arm and throws a marble like object on the floor "Whoosh" a portal appears on the floor
As she dragged me down through the portal.

We appeared on an open field.

Why did you even bother to ask me if you're just gonna drag me anyway ? And what was that thing we passes through I said

I told you there's not enough time. a monster was coming.

What monster? How'd did  you even know. 

You see we have a special power that let's us know when a monster is coming. it's called "Nightmare sight"

That still doesn't explain the portal.

It's called dream magic.

What?I'm sooo confused right now.ughhh

You see there are two fundamental forces in this world "Dream Energy" this marble portal is an example and the monsters which are also called "Nightmare Energy" nightmare energy is very powerful but very dangerous .we the nightmare hunters
Turn the monsters into Dream energy.

Then why didn't you just convert the monster into dream energy?

You need to have a heart with no fear first. and you look like a cowa..

Ashley was interrupted
by a loud screech.

A  monster appeared it was about 8 feet tall it  had a pitch  black body with white menacing eyes.

I asked Ashley why she didn't sense it.

She replied with a grin it's because we're in nightmare...
